Where to start?
Skylark is such an amazing guy. He works so hard with Scoots and is an incredible storyteller. His art is adorable, and unique though he may say otherwise. He’s a wonderful animator, and an all around great guy. I’d love to actually meet him because he’s such a relaxed person, and I owe him a lot.
Scootaloo the Adventurer is a wonderful blog filled with cute characters and great storylines. I love the backgrounds and atmosphere in the blog, and it’s often mindblowing how quickly Skyly can put out updates when he’s on a roll.
Wiggles is Wiggles and needs no introduction. She’s funny and kind, always appreciative of fan art and supportive of her followers. She’s an all in all great person, and the only one I can think of that could pull off mystery pone as long as she did with so many followers.
AKS has rapidly become one of my favorite blogs, and I’ve followed it since near the beginning. The growth and development of the characters is very impressive, and the humor is always well planned and balanced with the drama.
Spectral is a cool guy, who I wish was on DoS more because he’s always great to talk to. His art style is amazing and his spectralizations are an art form unto themselves.
I do miss his Ask-Spectral blog, and want to see the origins of his OC more.
Spike is such a cool guy, and obscenely talented though he doesn’t admit it. Whenever he’s around he’s the first to offer help and support, and though he can be just as goofy as anyone else, when it’s needed he’s an excellent voice of reason and compassion. He’s too self-critical for his own good at times, but I long for the day that I can do in 4 hours what I’ve seen him accomplish in 40 minutes.
Shady is crazy. End of story. She’s a fun kind of crazy though, the kind that can take something insane and make it work marvelously. I can’t think of another person who could become so enthralled in their own crackship to come up with so many blogs and tackle them in so many different ways.
I can’t choose just one of Shady’s gazillion blogs, but I’ll just say that while Sombrashy is a crazy ship that should never have happened, Shady has managed to not only maintain it, but make it believable.
If there’s any one person I’d like to meet, it’d be Ruuqo. She’s batshit crazy, in an endearing way. She’s such a cool person and one of the best friends I’ve made on tumblr. There’s not much more that I can really say about her tha others haven’t said better time and again.
I love Twilonequus, it’s such a cool idea. Even after the reboot Ruuqo’s shown some great ideas in it, and I can’t wait to see the return of Grogar and the Smooze.
The change does not affect memory in the drones, nor did it change Papi’s memory. She still remembers who and what she was before becoming a queen, and may use such knowledge should the need arise.
Sadly no, Papi still speaks proper Equestrian.
Changelings don’t communicate through chirps, clicks and trills, though the noises are common among changeling nymphs.
Changeling Warriors are bred to be large, strong and armored for a reason. They are not above sneaking behind enemy lines for an assault, but they prefer strong, direct attacks over guerrilla tactics favored by the drones and workers. Think of the warriors more like shock troopers than ninja.
Fleur fears that because she is half unicorn and half Saddle-Arabian, and such a mix is rare if not unique to her, that she is a hybrid, and as sterile as a mule. She fears hearing the truth so she has not gone to seek a medical opinion on the matter.
Papi’s left it to the drones to name the nymphs. Several drones have chosen young nymphs to call their own in pseudo-adoption. Other drones have taken fully grown warriors as mates.
I think I’d have to go with Kid Discord because the only thing he can consistently do is make food, and as for a mod….. Gonna say Twyla.
I hope not, though if they are Papi has a number of failsafes and a trump card that she’d rather not play…
That’s kind of up to the mods, not me.
Since I forgot about TMI Tuesday, and I’m bored, consider the next 24 hours free game for questions. I’ll take TMI, headcanons, I might even give spoilers if the right questions are asked.
I’m not the most trusting of people, and I’m asexual so it takes a LONG time for me to feel close enough to someone to be close to what I’d assume is love. Ere go, no falling into the arms of love, it’s more sliding down a shallow slope of love.
The cyclical feeding between Papillon and the members of the hive maintains stability for the most part. Drones are allowed to feed off of love, and derivatives thereof in small amounts if they are coupling, but primarily rely upon their queen for sustenance.
The initial reason for Papillon’s name was that I wanted a French word for some kind of insect, and I liked Papillon. The Chrysalis connection came immediately afterwards.
That wasn’t the initial reason, but it was a wonderful coincidence.
Not sure about this one. I like the idea, but I’m uncertain about the execution.
This is largely true, and has more to do with the remnant of a connection with a different hive mind than anything else.
Would anyone be willing to donate a Pinkie to the hive?

There is a reason why the changelings present during the Canterlot invasion have the body structure of Papi’s drones, and not warriors or workers…..
Part of this is true. Guess which part.
Once a month would be too often. A few times a year sure, but monthly? Just imagine the big strong Warrior changelings in frilly dresses though….

Daughters? What daughters? Papi has no daughters? Nope. None at all. Though she likely would defend them with her life.

I’ve actually not thought about molting/shedding of old shells. I prefer to think that when it’s time to shed a changeling burns away its old shell.
I find this idea horrifying beyond words.
If outside of the hive, and away from a stable and consistent source of food, not only will the hunger drive a changeling to madness, but it may drive them to eat anything, and anyone nearby. Cannibalism is not above a hunger starved changeling.

Very much so. Warriors and workers are numerous, and while they do still have a sense of self and individuality it is not strong enough to sustain their queen. Having been different creatures before conversion, the love of drones is much greater and more varied. This can be changed however, if a queen overfeeds…..
Among many drones, yes. It has a tendency to send Buzz Buzz into fits of either screaming rage, or tears.
