I love it when someone posts a contest and others bring up the contest guidelines, particularly when likes and reblogs are used to track entries. Such entry methods are discouraged, but are discouraged through the desire to avoid nongenuine social gestures under the social guideline section.
These guidelines discourage not only the use of likes and reblogs in contests, but also the use of asks, fanmail likes and reblogs to encourage others to visit your blog. Included in such gestures would be including followers in any created posts in the hopes that they would reblog, sending questions intended to interact with other blogs in character or out, etc.
Using likes and reblogs as contest entries does violate the contest and social guidelines of tumblr in a general sense, but so too do a good deal of the activity that goes into running and interacting with ask blogs. We are in a community that thrives because of these violations whether people recognize that or not, and given tumblr staff’s silence on the topic since the policies were revised in March of 2012 (and their silence on MUCH more pressing and damaging issues within this fandom and others) it shouldn’t be considered an issue.

It’s been a week since Papi last updated, and I want to work on the next update and put it out to maintain my weekly update streak, but the one day when I have no real plans or responsibilities I also have no motivation to actually work on the update.
Maybe I’ll be more motivated later today, or tomorrow. Or eventually.
I’m not really the one to ask in regards to that. While Fabi is more direct, forward, and controlling than Papi is, I don’t see her as being one to enforce her will over her own subjects. She is one that would demand respect and loyalty, but I don’t see Fabi as being one to quash free will in order to get it.

I can see this happening. Papillon is not overly fond of weaponry, but is less critical of blades than she is of firearms or other such devices. Despite not liking weapons in the hive, Papi also isn’t one to prohibit them altogether, so long as they are monitored and not to be used but for defense of the hive or oneself.
Buzz Buzz is kind of like a dog, fairly simple yet giving of unconditional love to anyone that pays him attention. As such, nymphs adore Buzz Buzz, in part because the little adorable annoyance is fun, and in part because if they play with him, he gives them pure love to feed off of.
That’s a good way of setting things, though in order for such a thing to work changelings would have to be true parasitic empaths, which does work and has been done well.
Within Papi’s canon changelings developed the capacity to feed off of love and love specifically because it is readily renewable within the confines of one’s own hive. Changelings in Papi’s canon are selectively parasitic empaths because they have only adapted to consume love, and they did that in order to maintain a home and place within an ecosystem without depleting the immediate resources therein.

I’d say to the deep ocean, or even the bottom over space. While space is beautiful in its own right we also know a fair bit about it, and the likelihood of seeing something new is low. The ocean’s depths are remarkably unexplored and there are some freaky and freakishly amazing creatures down deep in the sea.

1. Don’t do it just for art or to brag that you’re friends with them.
2. Squealing about them and telling them how amazing their art or whatever is is fun and cute and it makes us feel good about ourselves but doing it all the time will distance yourself from the artist and they’ll see you as a fan, not as a friend. (Not to mention it gets awkward)
3. It’s okay to be nervous, chances are they’re just as nervous talking to someone new as you are.
4. Comment on their posts. Reblogs and likes are nice but nothing beats feedback. Be an active follower. Y’know- make yourself be seen.
5. Don’t be obnoxious.
6. Apologizing if you think you’re being annoying is fine. But if they already said you’re not, there is no need to insist and keep apologizing. THAT’s annoying.
7. Don’t assume we’ll take request because we’re friends. (And no being a sneaky shit and keep hinting at it either)

Nothing specific, just family issues that have long been toxic, and that I would prefer to not deal with any more than I have already.
I’m tired of being called lazy, irresponsible, stupid and reclusive despite working near full time, maintaining good credit and fiscal backing, being the only person in my family (for generations on one side) to earn a college degree, and the only one to write a book.
I’m tired of being told that my sister does all of the housework whilst my brother and I are juggling laundry, dishes, cleaning, yardwork,etc. while she sleeps and watches Netflix.

Depends on what you consider a deep conversation. I had a conversation with a coworker today on how sports and football in particular act as a means of pacifying the masses and serve as a reflection of American society as a whole.
If that’s too material I had a conversation Thursday night with a friend on what one owes (and doesn’t owe) their family, the future, dealing with insecurity and ignorance, the purpose of education, etc.
Personally I’d consider the latter to be deeper.

I’m not a religious person, and I don’t much care for church for the most part. That being said, I have made it a point to read in my life, including many passages of the Bible and Paradise Lost.
Looking at the texts themselves, without a preacher leading you to their interpretation it’s not hard to see how strange and backwards things can be.
Lucifer’s goal is not to deceive humanity, per se, but to spite God. Lucifer was cast out of Paradiso because he refused to bow before God’s new creations of man, and chose instead to rise against God, convincing a fair few angels to side with him as they believed themselves God’s equal, and man inferior. To a point they were correct.
The point of the meme is to point out the fallacies in many religions and viewpoints, namely that what one believes is as much a matter of how it is taught as it is what is taught. What many people forget is that Lucifer is very rarely a direct influence in biblical and holy texts, and almost never is acknowledged with the unjust. This is due in large part to his being imprisoned in Inferno. God however brings about untold disaster and loss, all while overseeing greater atrocities, because it is part of his ‘plan’. According to biblical texts God is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. It is not because God does not know of the evils of the world, or of man’s potential for evil, nor is it because God is busy that evil takes place. Following the definitions of most iterations of the Judeo-Christian God, He is everywhere, can do everything, and knows everything. It is his plan for there to be evil.
God gave free will to man, and to angels knowing that they would fall from grace. Only God is infinite. All else is finite and ending. Following that, the concept of 'free will’ before an omniscient being is flawed as a finite creature can only conceptualize a finite amount of outcomes, and a finite sequence of outcomes from all of those. God, however, being all knowing, all powerful, and ever present bears the capacity to anticipate everything and would therefor anticipate the fall of His creatures great and small.
Lucifer bestowed upon Man the evil of knowledge, but also the knowledge that thought and reason is not evil. God gave temptation knowing the outcome, Lucifer gave reason out of spite towards his own creator.
