To any of my followers with a PS4, I have a 10% off code for a purchase and no idea what to do with it. It expires on 11/6 and I could use a reason to turn my PS4 on more often.
I think so, though accessing it would be significantly more difficult. The way I see magic in the MLP universe is that it doesn’t come from the horn, the horn is merely a conduit through which unicorns, changelings, etc. focus it. Without a horn it would be much harder to focus the magic naturally, but it could still be done either through a substitute conduit or through a lot of intense practice.

Not a bother at all. Changelings are naturally poor swimmers (It’s rather hard to stay afloat when full of holes) and prefer to avoid large bodies of water for anything but drinking. While changeling seaponies/kelpies/sirens could happen there is no record of such creatures for the aforementioned reasons, and there are few if any sentient fish.

I’m not sure why such a thing would happen, or why a Queen would choose to turn a whole herd of cows who exist in separate social (and often subservient) circles from ponies, but it could be done. Cow changelings would be bulkier than their more typical kin, and slower as well with relatively little of their original forms remaining.
A changeling’s mimicry and magic can allow it to take on all manner of disguises, including nonponies, though these are more difficult to assume. The larger a disguise the more difficult it is to maintain, and a changeling’s disguise can never exceed its own mass so while a changeling could become a giraffe it would be a rather light one.
A giraffe can become a changeling following the same process as most other creatures. The results tend to be lanky and awkward however.
They can take the guise of one, yes. More than once Papi has caught one of her drones playing at being their Queen. She finds it flattering, and usually funny. Especially when Buzz Buzz tries.
-Not only are a friends’ fears not to be taken lightly, they are to be respected.
-When a friend is willing to, and tries to come out of their comfort zone they may require, and welcome support, even if their attempt is considered poor by some.
-Facing one’s fears does not mean that the fears are gone, and if after facing them someone is still uncomfortable with them, or prefers their own means of handling them, that should be respected rather than pushing them to take further steps for your own convenience.

So….since @staff keeps making changes that no one wants without any semblance of beta testing, has anyone found a solid alternative to this cesspool of a website?
I want to work on the Raricow Nightmare Night post, but after sketching two of the characters my motivation has taken a nosedive. Crap.
Remember when people legitimately made up, and often had to make up, terrible stories to discredit the MLP/brony fandom?

Interesting thought that came up when talking about changeling Queens and Papi’s canon. When a Queen converts a pony they do so through the Queen’s Kiss, through which the Queen feeds the pony a modicum of her essence and love to make the pony hers.
A clever unicorn, or other pony having taken the proper potion(s), could potentially lock a Queen into the Kiss and force her to continually give up her essence to the pony. Rather than making them into a drone, this usurping of power would make the pony into a new Queen, and reduce the old Queen to a drone for the new.
This event, the Queen’s Kiss Rebound, has never been done, or at least recorded, in Papi’s canon but could be possible and warrants further thought.
The idea of Papi (or one of the other Queens) having the royalty effectively sucked out of her by a usurper she trusted enough to welcome into her hive, and leaving her a drone and subject of said usurper is legitimately fascinating to me. I may need to experiment with this, but would first need one who would ask to be a drone, and make themselves a Queen through deceit.

Seriously. In the movies there’s maybe a couple of months between Bilbo leaving the Shire on his 111th birthday when Frodo turns 33, and when Frodo leaves the Shire to destroy the One Ring. In the books 17 years pass and Frodo doesn’t leave the Shire until after his 50th birthday.

As unpopular as many of the additions to the Hobbit movies are, Peter Jackson only added a day or two to the actual timeline, while removing at least 17 years from LOTR
Along with the “Bits for Bovines” anthro commissions, if anyone wants nonanthro commissions, those are available too at the same rate. If there’s enough interest I may run a giveaway of sorts along with them.

A) People can ship who they like, it’s shipping not the choosing stone.
B) Being related has never stopped other ships in many fandoms
C) They state in the show that they’re not even certain the two families are related, and the stated relationship in Pinkie Apple Pie would make the two more distantly related than the state of Alabama.
