Customer service people are (Mostly) awesome people. they want to help you but they are not mind readers, they can't bend or break the rules, and they can't just magicly fix any problem you have. be nice and polite. They don't like being yelled at any more than you do :) there's always an exception to the rule but most cs people just want to make it through the day and get you helped as fast as posable and efently so they can help someone else :D

What happened? (regarding the post complaining about a customer)
A collection of general ‘fun’. I work as a customer service representative for a Visa distributor, so I’ve spent all day listening to people screaming at me because their credit card isn’t working, or their payment didn’t go through, or whatever else.
The most fun one was a woman who called in shrieking at me because her card had been denied and she’d been on hold half the day trying to get someone to help her. The card had been on hold for 10 minutes total when she called me, and when I went over exactly what would have to be done to reactivate her card (be put on hold for less than a minute so she could be transferred to another department) she started shouting even louder and demanding to speak to a manager because she’d been on hold all day already. Again, the card, not the customer had had a hold for 10 minutes total, and she called during a slow time of the day.
I get these issues a lot, and 99 times out of 100, if they’re upset and screaming about a relatively minor issue, they’re also over 60.
Remember, when dealing with someone in customer service to be polite and considerate. They are there to help you, and make shopping or using their company’s service easier. They are not trying to cheat you, and know what they’re talking about more than you do.
In summary: Shut up, stay calm, open your ears and let me do my goddamn job! I’m on your side, I’m here to help as much as I can, and that’s a lot fucking easier without you screaming at me that you know how my job works better than I do.
It’s always weird seeing people use my art as icons/reaction pics/whatever. Part of me finds it incredibly flattering, but another just says “No, why would you use that? Please don’t, you’re embarrassing us both.”
Didn’t they think Heath Ledger would be stupid too? Personally, I’m hoping the writing and acting can make it work.
It’s not the actor, it’s the look.
My God, this guy looks like one of Joker’s cronies! He doesn’t look like the Joker himself. At least Heath looked like Joker from the get-go. He was toxic, he was sadistic, he was the dark side of anarchy to the darker justice that Nolan’s Batman did.
This Joker just looks… he looks so dull and bland. There’s none of the Charisma that Joker is known for. The tattoos are so stupid looking. I mean
THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE JOKER?! I am not a fan, I’m sorry.
He looks more like someone who was told he’s going to rehab than a charismatic psychopathic mastermind
cuz its the same as putting a prize on going to a fandom website or being part of a comunity
Odd, I thought it was the same as putting a price on extra content outside of the initial price tag that people had devoted their time, energy, money and love into creating. I thought it was a way for people who devote their resources to creating mods to get more than a shallow ‘thank you’ from their communities for providing a voluntary service that is the community’s choice to partake in.
Nothing quite like walking in on your parents discussing how lazy you are for not having moved out yet because they’d just gotten an apartment after dropping out of college as sophomores and having 3 kids by the same age.
Yep, I’m super lazy for living at home, working the same full-time job that they do after earning a bachelor’s degree, publishing a novel and running several (semi)regularly updated art blogs.
There’s gonna be so much bullshit in the Superman VS Batman movie and so many fans fighting about who’s better like
I’m dreading it so much.
Watch as DC makes Batman win in the most bullshit way ever imaginable just because he’s more popular
I generally like Batman more myself, but I don’t really get how Batman could ever beat Superman, barring packing some kryptonite, which is arguably cheating. Superman is just that insanely overpowered.
But regardless, popularity shouldn’t dictate a fight like that. I’d prefer the classic scenario of them fighting to a draw before teaming up against another threat. That’s always the funnest situation.
you guys know DC has been doing stuff like this since the fucking 1950’s right
Exactly, I’m sick of it. Time to stop. And honestly Superman is overpowered when compared to Batman but not the villains he was created to face. That is how you decide if a character is op. Superman was made to fight aliens or creatures on par with him or more powerful than him.
I think it’s generally the other way around with Supes, namely with aliens, creatures and villains being made afterwards in order to be more powerful than him because comparatively he is so overpowered.
I’m not a Superman fan, but I think DC would be better off by fleshing out the Cavill Superman some more in another movie rather than rushing ahead with BvS to play catch-up with Marvel. Superman is a great character to work with, and should be used more as a standalone before throwing in a Batman that no one has seen anything from yet. Putting other heroes like Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Cyborg into the movie won’t help things either.
Personally, I don’t think the movie will be good, in part because of all the stuff that DC’s putting into it for the second movie in a cinematic universe, in part because it’s just more Superman/Batman like DC always goes back to, and in part because there’s SO MUCH in the DC Universe that could be explored and played with to expand the cinematic universe they’re trying to build.
That the teaser trailer only really shows light and color when something’s exploding and tonally looks like something from the early 2000s in the dark times of comic movies doesn’t help my wariness for the film.
I didn’t think it was possible, but the teaser trailer for Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice has made me even more sure that the movie isn’t going to be good.
“Modern gaming is so toxic and lazy! The Order: 1886 is just a 6 hour shooter that’s mostly cutscenes! Too many games are charging for DLC that should have been in game!”
Pokemon Snap, a beloved game from the N64 was a 2 hour rail shooter that required either a special printer, or multiple trips to a participating Blockbuster just to view the pictures that you took. Dollar for dollar, it was also more expensive to purchase, and cheaper to make, than most modern console/on-disc games.
How long is it without the cutscenes?
My playthrough of The Order: 1886 took about 8 hours, though others have blitzed through it in about 5. There was maybe 90 minutes-2 hours of cutscenes and quick time events in the game, and it was marketed as being a more cinematic experience rather than a gameplay heavy experience.
pokemon snap was a niche title, and most people nowadays don’t seem to really care about the blockbuster photo thing.
the order 1886 is an insanely boring slogfest that promised a load of things and didn’t deliver through on most if any of them. and do i even need to mention destiny?
The point is that the issues that people complain incessantly about now have been around for a long time, it’s just that the complaints are more vocal and accessible now.
As for The Order: 1886, it delivered what it promised, at least from every pre-release footage and interviews that I saw. It didn’t promise to revolutionize anything, but to be an experience, and it was. It wasn’t an incredible experience, but it was what it said it would be, and I enjoyed it enough to fully review the game rather than brush it off. I did the same with Destiny, which did very little of what it promised, so don’t get me started on that
i wouldn't be surprised if teen titan's go was joking with that message. besides, the opposite is kinda silly considering its a tv show.
Seeing as the show has had other episodes that centered on ideas like “Books are dangerous” “Changing your friends is cool” and “Clothes define your personality” I kind of doubt it.

SU lesson: It is important to take pride in your work, and you should respect other’s efforts and not use them in a way that that person doesn’t approve.
TTG! lesson: TV is good for you, and not watching TV turns you into a zombie.

I just cannot work on Papi right now. It doesn’t feel right.
I’ve tried several different ways of setting the Papi update, and no matter what I’ve tried or done nothing looks or feels right. I guess I’m just having one of those nights where I question why I keep trying with Papi.
He just hasn’t changed size yet. They clearly talked how he wants the suit to be able to do that and he and felicity are working on it, or have done it and ray hasn’t had the balls to try yet. So its gonna happen. Just no idea when. Likely soon tho.
Oh I’ve no doubt that they’ll do it eventually, it just seems odd and somewhat stupid that they haven’t yet. The only talk of shrinking involved with Atom in Arrow has been using the nanotech to shrink a blood clot, and now that nanotech is inside Ray so there’s the possibility. That they introduced Atom as a wise-cracking, snarky billionare in an armored suit that can fly, uses high end HUDs to analyze situations and shoots hardlight/plasma from his gauntlets seems stupid to me though as it’s LITERALLY Iron Man in all but aesthetic. I’m not too well versed in DC comics, but I don’t recall any version of The Atom ever being like that.
You know, I love how DC’s introduced The Atom in Arrow and he’s pretty much just an Iron Man clone while in the comics he’s a size-shifter, and in the meantime Marvel’s made an Ant-Man movie where the character legitimately changes sizes and makes it look awesome.
If developers want more money, they should make better games. Amputating parts of games to sell them back to us is an unhealthy practice. And seriously, why are you supporting them doing this? Do you seriously /want/ to pay extra over what you already bought?
How’s it unhealthy?
It’s making thousands of video game companies significantly more money
How is it unhealthy if it’s working perfectly exactly as planned?
Look at WoW with all its expansions and monthly fees
Look at PayDay 2 with the amount of content packs they’re able to keep making because of the amount of people buying them
Look at Killer Instinct being a 100% DLC game where every individual character is DLC and it’s one of the most successful fighting games ever made
Like I’m really not seeing the issue here
And YES I WANT TO PAY EXTRA
Do you know how much money I’ve put into free games like League of Legends and RIFT?
THOUSANDS
OF
DOLLARS
THOOOOOOOOOOOOUSAAAAAAANDS
Not just 5.99 for an extra two missions and a costume
THOUSANDS OF FUCKING DOLLARS
ON A GAME THAT’S ALREADY FREE
YES I WANT TO PAY MORE FOR GAMES THAN I ALREADY PAID
Would you like us to throw some ideas out there? I agree with anon, maybe you should work on something that’s more enjoyable
It’s not that I don’t find the things that I don’t want to draw enjoyable, it’s that I don’t want to draw them right now and just don’t know what I do want to draw. As for requests or spitballing ideas, people are welcome to suggest them, but it’s looking more and more like that won’t help tonight.
I wouldn’t mind working on updates for a few blogs, but I just don’t have any questions that scream “DRAW ME NOW!” right now.
That’s the problem though, I want to draw, but I don’t know what I want to draw and the things that I should want to draw I don’t want to draw, but I don’t want to just draw randomness because it doesn’t sit well with me.
I’m in a spot where I want to work on stuff, but everything that I should or could work on is stuff that I don’t really want to work on. Artist problems yay!
