Trump introduces his tax plan, stating that it would cause his personal taxes to rise, and would have no negative impact on the national deficit.
Actually eliminates his estate tax, cuts taxes associated with his businesses and slashes his income taxes, while increasing the deficit by an estimated 12 trillion dollars.
Trump still leads in the Republican polls.
This has been another episode of “I want to not be here”
I know I’m not the only one who likes sour cream raisin pie, right?
Wtf?
Sour cream raisin pie is a sweet custard pie filled with raisins, made a little sour through substituting some of the sweet cream with sour cream and typically topped with meringue. It’s delicious!
“The Flood are absolutely necessary and pivotal in Halo!” Which is why they’re only in half of the currently released games, for less than half of the time, and could be removed altogether without a lot of rewriting.
i just find it hilarious to listen to them but infuriating to deal with them.
Like I said, they’re amusing, from a distance. I had to drive my grandfather around one day and he spent most of the trip ranting all kinds of conspiracy theories about how Obama was trying to destroy America, that he was born in Kenya, etc. I nearly stopped in the middle of the road and kicked him out.
since i got started on it a few minutes ago, what's your opinion on conspiracy theory's?
I think they’re entertaining from afar, but infuriating up close.
Talking about them with people who try to look at things from different viewpoints can be a lot of fun because you end up talking about not only how ridiculous they often are, but also why people could legitimately believe them.
Talking about conspiracy theories with conspiracy theorists is just a bad time, depending on the person, because they are very often so staunchly rooted in their beliefs that trying to turn them away from their craziness makes you a part of the conspiracy.
Sometimes I want people to randomly ask me what my opinions are on controversial subjects, but then I remember the shitstorm that could arise and shut up.
Don’t let this stop you from asking questions though. If it gets controversial it gets controversial. I’d rather share opinions that might spark debate than have people afraid to talk.
actually... we're not getting most of our oil from iraq, and even then what we are getting we're buying. it may have been a slight factor but the idea that the war was caused solely for oil is a conspiracy theory.
Like I said, it was and is a factor. There is never a war that is caused for a single reason.
i'd hate to ruin any good relation's i have with you but... you don't believe in the "iraq war was over oil" thing do you?
I don’t believe that that was the sole, or for a time even the primary, reason, but I do believe that it was a factor. The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were instigated by a presidency that was seeing falling support among the American people prior to 9/11, and historically there are few things that bring people together quite like conflict and being able to define a singular enemy. The events of 9/11 have little to no ties to the countries of Iraq or Afghanistan aside from those countries having supported Al-Qaeda and other such terrorist groups to some extent in the past (The US falls under the same boat there, but people like to forget that), and yet both are rich in a resource that America uses HEAVILY.
The wars may not have directly been for oil, but the evidence leans more towards that being a fairly prominent factor than it does the extended campaigns being for the more heavily publicized reasons of avenging US citizens, overthrowing oppressive regimes (which the US had hands in creating decades prior in an attempt to undermine the USSR) and spread democracy.
“Y’all liberals don’t un’erstand. If’n it didn’t get done first in ‘Murcah, it ain’t gunna work in ‘Murcah! Stop talkin’ ‘bout mythical places like Australier, an’ Eurp an’ Jipin cuz they ain’ ‘Murcah an’ what may or may not’ve worked for them’s ain’t gunna work for ‘Murcah!”

Perhaps the reason I did actually enjoy them being in the game and you didn’t is that you are comparing them to other things where as I thought they were very original for a “zombie” enemy.
That’s fair, and to each their own. I didn’t look at them as very zombie-like because they’re so distant from zombies in behavior, origin, mechanics, etc. They’re more parasitic than necrotic and came off as more ‘Tentacle Ticks from Planet F’ than they did anything really zombie-like.
Seriously? I always thought the Flood were a great enemy, they were nothing like your average zombie and eventually even get their own backstory and whatnot. Not to mention the Pure forms in halo 3.
I just don’t think they’re worth the time they’re given in the first three games. I would have much rather time been spent on the Covenant and the power balance there because that’s interesting and more entertaining than the Flood in general.
They’re not very zombie-like, true, but that’s not an issue. They’re just dusty, more unpleasant Borg mixed with some Xenomorph for good measure. It doesn’t help that their origin is pretty similar to those of Metroids.
They might be varied in form, but are all virtually identical in strategy, rush forward and shoot/melee, save for the Pure Stalker forms which do the same thing until they decide to mutate at which point they become rooted in place. They’re varied, but as a whole they aren’t pleasant to look at, nor are they morbidly enthralling, they’re just fleshy and there and are overall just annoying.
Had they just been wiped out in Halo CE I don’t think many people would miss them. At all. Had they not appeared in Halo CE I don’t think many people would miss them either.
Oh it’s not because they’re difficult. Far from it. They’re easier to kill than a Grunt. They’re just boring, uninteresting and generally not fun to play against.
I don’t plan on it, but it is a possibility. I have had absolutely no motivation to work on anything anthro for a while, and Fleur was never intended to be regularly updated.
Good answer. I figured someone like fickle might be up there. Tell me. Does papi get worried when she hasn't seen buzz buzz for a time.
I don’t think ‘worried’ is the right word. ‘Fearful’ might be more fitting. Buzz Buzz typically has at least one keeper to keep an eye on him and keep him in check. Luckily he hasn’t gotten into much trouble so far.
Who has the best booty in the hive not included papi or fabulicious.
Potentially anyone, because shapeshifters, you know? In base form it would probably be Libellule because she’s a princess approaching full maturity and therefore must have a good booty. Fickle’s up there too, though she tends to pad hers more than most for reasons of jealousy of the Papi butt, and being Fickle.
Your art style has been clearly improving. When i first followed I didn't think it was too good and almost left. But your stories and art improvements have made me happy every time you update a blog.
You have a lot of potential. And yeah, sometimes your art can give me the willies, but you fucking try man. You practice and improve. You're doing a good job.

I wonder if people who use the “MY TAXES!” argument/excuse for why things shouldn’t change realize that the tax rates in America have been significantly higher before, and often were in times of economic growth, being at times as high as 94% for the wealthiest in the country, but still manageable for the working class. I wonder if they realize that the only reason that America currently has such low tax rates is because of the Reagan era tax cuts implemented to stimulate the Reagonomic economic model that has done a fair bit to hurt the economy as a whole.
