Should cowponies made from different pony races (unicorn, pegasus, earth) have different horns?
Critics hate Batman vs Superman. Audiences polled rate it on the same level as Green Lantern and Catwoman. The only box office record set by the film is greatest drop off of a superhero movie in the opening weekend…
Still, people defend it. From what I’ve seen those that defend it most fervently refer to themselves as DC fans, and they generally are, but I get the feeling that a lot of the people defending the film aren’t doing it because they honestly believe that it’s a good film and does justice to the characters. I get the feeling that they’re defending it so fervently as a reaction to the hate it’s been rightly getting because it’s DC. I get the feeling that they’re defending its flaws, plot-holes, lack of character and poor characterizations not because they deserve to be defended, but because it’s the first time that some of their favorite characters have appeared on film together or at all. More power to them.
At the same time that some people are defending BvS they’re responding to the hate that it’s getting by lashing out at Marvel and their cinematic universe because it’s been praised, and they’re the competition. Personally I prefer the MCU movies, but I wouldn’t say that I do so because they’re Marvel. I prefer them because they’re legitimately good and either capture the spirit of the characters as I’ve known them, or introduce me to new characters I never gave a second thought to. I have yet to get that with DC, and recently the characters have been at such odds with who they are supposed to be that it’s borderline infuriating.
I have never been one to read comics, but I do still look into the stories and characters that intrigue me. I prefer Marvel’s movies and many of their characters now, but I grew up watching Batman, Superman, Justice League, etc. and loved them then and now. That’s why I hate Batman vs Superman. Marvel has proven time and again that you can make a successful superhero movie that stands on its own outside of the comics, that still maintains the spirit and relative accuracy of the comics. DC of late seems to go out of their way to go against the spirit of their most beloved characters in an attempt to make a good movie, and then still turns out a product that is at best divisive and at worst panned by the majority who see it.
Like what you like for the reasons that you like it. If you legitimately like something that many others openly dislike and dissect with good reason, good on you, everyone has something of the sort. Please though, don’t defend something that is blatantly bad for the sake of defending it. If you’re defending something in an uphill battle, at the very least make your points clear and support them. Lastly, respect others’ opinions when they’re voiced. Even if you don’t agree, let them get their say out and support it as much as they can. If you can tear their argument apart then do if you feel like you must, but know that it may very well only cement their opinion all the more. It happens to everyone.
MY REPLIES ARE BACK!

Tumblr users will always have something to bitch about. To be fair, the bitching is often warranted as the changes that cause it are rarely those that anyone openly wanted.
They say that replies are back, but is it so?
4. Worst game you’ve ever played?
Two Worlds on the Xbox 360. I don’t remember it at all, aside from the fact that I played it for 10 minutes, said nope and returned it immediately.
5. A popular series/game you just can’t get into no matter how much you try?
Kingdom Hearts. I didn’t have a Playstation between the PS1 and the PS4 so I missed the series entirely and don’t care enough to try to get into it.
6. A game that’s changed you the most?
Pokemon Blue. It was one of the first games that I’ve played and it’s what got me into Pokemon which has helped to define my life so much.
7. A game you’ll never forget?
There are a number of games that I’m unlikely to forget, like Mass Effect 2, Batman Arkham City, Ocarina of Time, Borderlands 2, etc.
21. How old were you when you first played a video game?
I was 6 or so when I first played a video game, and that was Jurassic Park on the SNES. The first game that was mine was Pokemon Blue, and Pokemon Yellow that I got on my 7th birthday.
24. Casual, Hardcore, or in the middle
I’d say in the middle. I game often and with varied titles, but I’m not all that hardcore.
Okay, so here’s what you do: go watch the animated movies.
Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Justice League: The New Frontier
Your mileage may vary based on how much you enjoy them, but I love these movies. They’re all animated films and I’m pretty sure all of them involve Bruce Timm and Paul Dini in some measure, whom you may know as being the driving force behind the fantastic “Batman: The Animated Series” and “Batman Beyond”. Many of these animated movies hold very true to the comics with beautiful animation, great voice acting, excellent characterization, and overall offer a hugely superior experience to any of the live action movies.
If you want a good general DC series that’s a nice blend of comic book action and slice-of-life stories to watch, go give “Justice League: Unlimited” a shot. Please make sure you watch Unlimited - there’s another “Justice League” cartoon that came out prior to Unlimited and it’s pretty shit. If you want some campy, playful goodness sure to put a smile on your face, then try out “Batman: The Brave and The Bold”, which is one of my absolute favorites. Any show that’s got Aquaman singing a rousing musical number to inspire his teammates is aces by me.
If you want to wash the bad taste of Batman V Superman out of your mouth, then please do yourself a huge favor by watching “Superman/Batman: Public Enemies”. It is by and large my favorite depiction of the two as friends and fellow heroes, particularly since the both of them spend the majority of the film heavily wounded, hiding from enemies hunting them, and bantering. The two have amazing chemistry and really do chat like old friends throughout.
This weekend’s been awful.
Friday Batman vs Superman gave me a rage headache the likes of which I haven’t had since Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender (BvS is not a terrible movie, but it’s still pretty freaking bad).
Saturday was an 11 hour shift on my birthday followed by my parents passive-aggressively reminding me that I’m lonely and socially inept.
Today was another 11 hour shift, on Easter, while my extended family gathered for Easter dinner, and to celebrate mine and my brother’s birthdays, all while I had to cut out my lunch break because of shitty scheduling and a bad turn of events for a coworker.
Fuck me.
I should draw more of Bev.
Nothing quite like getting a passive aggressive birthday present from family.
Let me preface this by saying that I like, and even love many DC characters, yet have often said that I hate what DC does with its characters. Let me also say now that I prefer Marvel over DC, and the MCU has only widened the preference gap for me. As with any review, the opinions here are my own, and they are biased. That being said, I cannot in good conscience recommend Batman vs Superman. Continue reading below for the full review.
I still can’t wrap my head around some of the strange leaps in logic and reason in Batman vs. Superman.
As am I, I just wasn’t in the mood to write a second person TF piece for the anon. I was and still am fuming over Batman vs Superman.
I’m surprised no one’s tried to start an RP with any of my blogs or characters, especially since they’re open to NSFW RPs.
I suppose that I could. I’m not sure why I’d want to. Would any one be interested?

If people want to RP with Papi, Raricow, Bev or Mimi (skunk and mouse anthros respectively), they are welcome to start an RP in the respective blog’s instant messaging option.
A Boy and his Blob is a perfect example of a game that I can see and understand why it’s beloved by some but I just find boring and tedious.
No, what would make you think that?

If you’re interested in potential adoptables, feel free to vote for what you’d most like to see
Would people be interested if I were to do adoptables of some sort? And if so, what kind, mlp, anthro, etc?
That is spooky. If it’s any consolation, I don’t plan on using Carlotta for much of anything and have given her to a friend. Still, any similarities to actual people are strictly coincidental.
If I make anthro character sketches and post them here, people are welcome to ask if the characters are taken unless I say in the post that they belong to someone. I don’t mind giving characters away if people ask and I’m not attached to the character. Just ask @unovabrony who now has Carlotta the rat in his collection of characters.
Alternatively I might actually do adoptables if people are interested.

Carlotta works nights regularly, and usually doesn’t do much at home except for sleep.
mwpriddypinkie answered your question: What should I draw? TF stuff? Anthro stuff?…
Bionicle? Just for the challenge?
That would require me to like Bionicle or know anything about it
What should I draw? TF stuff? Anthro stuff? Other stuff?
Still depressed and unsure of what to do. What am I doing with my life?
I don’t know what to draw, I don’t know what to play, and I’m entering into the usual depressive spiral that is just ever so much fun. Lovely.
I’m sure it’s a fine game, but I’ve never heard anything on it to interest me in it, and I have a backlog that’s already huge.
askfableaquas answered your question: Not feeling the draws tonight, so what should Bev…
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1?
Never heard of it
Not feeling the draws tonight, so what should Bev play?
Wasn’t feeling the draws for Papi yesterday, not feeling the draws for Raricow today. Crap.
Every iteration of the Joker is good in his own right, so far. I’m extremely iffy on what I’ve seen of Leto’s Joker right now. The point of the tag was that DC properties are always set up as having phenomenal villains, but the only one that is ever unquestionably good is the Joker. Most every other villain in a DC movie in the last 20 years has either been as bad if not worse than the typical villains in the MCU, while the heroes are generally less human and relatable than their Marvel competition.
Marvel movie villain syndrome is a legitimate issue with the MCU. It is heavily mitigated by the phenomenal villains in the Netflix MCU series i.e. Fisk and Kilgrave.
One of the more impressive parts of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth was that it had pretty impressive models for every Digimon in the game. That was severely undermined by there being fewer than 250 Digimon in the game and 10% of those available being recolors of other Digimon also available, and animations being limited to only a handful for each sprite.
That was further undermined by Pokemon releasing X and Y 2 years prior to the Vita release of Cyber Sleuth, and those games containing individual models for 721 unique species of Pokemon, as well as models for each Mega Evolution, and every single model having a minimum of 1 alternate color palette all having extensive animations through Pokemon Amie.
SEND ME SHIT PLEASE

He’s a punk rock hacker who uses Digimon to hypnotize and control his fanbase if I remember correctly. Did not like Cyber Sleuth, but I still made it well into the game before saying fuck it.
okay no hold up this is the kind of shit that showed up on funnyjunk in 2012 why is it still here
Christian don’t have too follow old testiment laws btw
Oddly enough, not having to follow the laws of the Old Testament never seems to stop scripture from the Old Testament being used to argue bigoted ideals.
Every generation of Pokemon adds or changes something in the core mechanics that fundamentally changes how things work. Except for 5th gen. 5th gen didn’t really change anything except that TMs could work more than once.
