I want to get an update out, but perpetually lack ideas or motivation to work on one. This tends to happen with many projects I start on, losing interest and motivation to actually work on it after having ideas and promises for events that are unlikely to actually be drawn.
The only newly revealed Pokemon that I don’t really like design-wise is the fish, but at the same time the locale makes the design feasible and it looks to be viable competitively. Overall good designs and possibilities from the leaked Pokemon.
I tried to get into The Witcher but started with the 2nd one and was like "WHY IS THIS SO SLOW!" as well as the weird controls for 360
I started with Witcher 2 on the 360 as well, and it took a few tries for me to get into it as well. Once I started getting into the characters and setting more than the gameplay it was a lot easier, and Witcher 3 has been much more fun than 2. I started reading the translations of the original short stories as well, and CD Projekt Red adapted the setting and characters ridiculously well.
I will never understand the “Immigrants are going to take our jobs!” argument. The jobs that immigrants “take” are the ones that were available because no one wanted them, not jobs that were already filled.
It’s more often the company that immigrates to another country and takes the jobs with them than it is the immigrant that comes to “take a job”.
I was expecting papillion and her family in canterlot looking at the beam from a window. Oh well. Anyway the changeling princess papillion met in that post was so adorbs I almost got a heart attack.
I’m glad you like Emeera, and you can thank @askknightstar for her. It wouldn’t feel right doing something in reference to AKS’s end in part because of the canonical time discrepancies, but also because I don’t want to say that someone else’s story takes place in the same world or timeline as mine, or vice versa unless all parties agree to it.
I need to work on the Papi update, but first I need to decide what to do for it.

for once I have to have a say on something. that new ben 10 looks bad. if it was just a simple reboot or new charicter starting it would be ok but to take all the old aliens and make ben 10 again is horable. I liked the older ben I liked when he wan't a sot nosed little brat. I enjoyed the older charicters and better story. As well as better naimation. (mostly) but I just don't get why they have to reboot every single little thing that was popular once, Leave things well enough alone!

So Clinton won California by about 440,000 votes, okay, a bit of a surprise given the estimates and polling prior to the primary but whatever. What’s that? nearly 2.5 million votes still haven’t been counted? Why am I not surprised?
I’ve seen the sun theory everywhere linking solgaleo to being a steel type because of the trace amount of iron contained within the sun and it being associated with a dying sun. While I think this is a fine theory, there’s one very simple theory regarding solgaleo’s typing I haven’t seen anywhere!
Solgaleo stands for “the beast who devours the sun.” The alchemic symbol for metal purification is the lion devouring the sun! Hence the steel typing!
Not only does this make sense, it wouldn’t even be the only alchemical reference in Sun and Moon:
See, the alchemical symbol for sulfur (a.k.a. brimstone, as in “fire and brimstone”) is this:
If we take the infinity sign to be eyes, then this looks quite a lot like Litten’s facial markings!
I wonder if alchemical symbols might just be a thing in the new games…
That’s a great observation! Litten definitely has markings resembling the brimstone symbol (note, it is also the alchemic symbol for sulfur!). I wonder if its evolutions will have markings of other alchemic symbols. I for one think the mercury or cinnabar symbols would be good choices.
On another note, I’ve done some more research regarding how lunala could relate to alchemy, and I might’ve found something. If you’ve ever watched full metal alchemist, you might have an idea of where I’m going! The philosopher’s stone as you might know is the ultimate goal in alchemy, as it has 4 steps.
-Nigredo (a state of decay, represented by the color black)
-Albedo (a state of purification, represented by the color white)
-Citrinitas (a state of bringing about solar light, or transmuting silver to gold, represented by the color yellow)
-Rubedo (a state of completion, represented by the color red).
Going by this theory, lunala would represent the first stage well, as nigredo is represented by black (lunala has black themes, is a bat) and it is the state of decay (lunala is a ghost type!)
Solgaleo is represented by albedo, as albedo is represented by white (solgaleo is white).
If this theory is viable, I believe that lunala will be placed before solgaleo in the pokedex for the sole reason that nigredo precedes albedo. This might not be the case, as solgaleo is always showcased before lunala, but that doesn’t have to mean much.
What about the other 2 stages? Maybe they will be legendary pokemon that haven’t been released yet! I could see the pokemon representing rubedo being the cute yet extremely powerful legendary pokemon of the region (mew, celebi, etc).
So much alchemy influence in this region! I love it!
