I ment next years. Or at the Tokyo space game thing
It could be at the Tokyo Game Show, and it kind of has to be. If it wasn’t at E3 in some way I’d be super worried, seeing as it comes out Spring 2017 and E3 is in June.
My favorite part is that Nintendo has kept it completely under wraps and everyone is making assumptions.
They need to show something soon. They have to. They’ve announced that it will be released next spring, so within the next 9 months, yet the release window is literally the only thing they have officially announced for it. That’s typically the last thing that’s brought up.
And the assumptions are all over the place. It’ll be cheap and affordable. It’ll be really expensive. It’ll be a VR system. It’ll be a mobile console. It’ll be less powerful than current hardware but portable. It’ll be more powerful than any console to date by using resources from other NX systems. The list goes on. Speculation is well and good, but at this point all I want is some information.
You know what? I love seeing all the rumors and speculation going around right now about the Nintendo NX. You know what I’d love even more? SOME FUCKING CONCLUSIVE INFORMATION OR A DEMONSTRATION NINTENDO!!!
the
only person I thought was a bad casting choise was flash. the rest of
the movie made perfect sence to me and I enjoyed the pacing. it didn’t
stay on anything to long to get boring. I just don’t know how lex found
out who superman was.
As I said, to each their own. 90% of Lex’s plotline didn’t make sense because 90% of it took place off screen, even in the extended edition. Couple that with horrible miscasting with Jesse Eisenberg who plays the role more like he’d tried out for the Joker and got snubbed and the character as a whole ends up being annoying and nonsensical in all that he does instead of coming off as one of the smartest and most influential villains in media.
The motivation for the fight is pointless. The motivation for Lex to hate Superman is pointless outside of “Lex hates Superman. Lois Lane being in the movie at all, let alone as much as she is is pointless outside of “Lois and Clark have to be together.” The reasoning for the fight to end is insultingly forced and stupid. It’s a movie that sacrifices so much time and buildup for exposition the audience already knows, while completely ignoring exposition that actually furthers the plot and makes decisions and choices feasible and understandable. Instead of having a cohesive story it tries to set up action sequences, which are good, but are painfully rushed lumped towards the end, and are often hurt by sickening camera work.
There was so much in that film that made me ask why in the worst of ways, and that shouldn’t happen, let alone in a comic movie and especially in one that’s trying so hard to set up a cinematic universe that I really want to see. It had some good scenes, but the movie as a whole was an absolute mess that put a sour taste in my mouth for comic movies that was thankfully soothed by Captain America Civil War (which manages to tell largely the same story 50x better and with a conclusion that was satisfying instead of shoehorned in), and has been further eased by the trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League.
I
don’t get all the hate on bvs. I watched it on friday and it was very
good, only 1 real plot hole but a solid 4 out of 5. just as awesome as
kung fu panda 3
To each their own, I suppose. BvS had many plotholes, a storyline that made little to no sense due to motivations never having grounds, pacing that was either ridiculously quick or a dreadful slog through exposition with little in between, painfully blatant attempts at setup for 5 other movies, and poor characterization and/or casting for many well known and beloved characters. It’s helped somewhat by the extended release, but still suffers from a lot of issues that are inherent in the plot, and don’t save it from being a bad movie.
It’s one of the only films I’ve sat through and was livid afterwards, one of the only times that I watched a movie and considered it a legitimate waste of time.
Kung Fu Panda 3 was great, repeated and largely unnecessary, but still great. Batman Vs. Superman was horrible and a waste of time and money IMO. I’m just glad that the controversy and backlash that it received opened DC’s ears and they’re actually learning from mistakes instead of doubling down on them.
The first trailers for Wonder Woman and Justice League have dropped from Comic-Con and they actually look really good. My god, DC seems to actually be learning from the backlash and responding by making better decisions, being truer to the characters (in most cases) and letting their movies about people in brightly colored spandex have a little bit of lightness in them.
I’m still shaky on Suicide Squad, but this looks to be the direction that I’ve been hoping for from DC, not Marvel, but not broody McBatman-ed in every property.
Why do I get the feeling that anime Gym Leaders actually do have puzzles traps and disciples in their games just like in the games, but disassemble all of it when they hear Ash is coming out of pity?
Blain didn’t disassemble his traps when ash came and misty had to solve his riddle.
And to be fair, Ash never gets to quite a few of the gyms, he finds the leaders outside or someother bizarre circumstance happens (usually caused by team rocket)
Oh, he had to do shit to face Erica too.
And he’s never had troubles challenging a gym since, at least no trouble after getting there, not counting all the trouble he has with the actual battles. It makes me think that after Blaine there was some sort of Gym Leader meeting where they just agreed to let him challenge the leader directly upon reaching the gym, because they knew he wouldn’t be able to clear a gym on his own and didn’t want to deal with him longer than absolutely necessary.
Why do I get the feeling that anime Gym Leaders actually do have puzzles traps and disciples in their gyms just like in the games, but disassemble all of it when they hear Ash is coming out of pity?
One of the most confounding things about X and Y is the Pikachu spawning in Santalune Forest. It’s supposed to have a 6% encounter rate, but as soon as you find one a billion more spawn. I swear, my female Pika’s in heat after finding 4 male Pikachu in a row
Feeling supremely unmotivated of late, and I’ll be out of town most of next week, so just be aware that there could be a hiatus until the start of August for blogs and commissions.
Going to do a Pokemon post today in honor of Pokemon Go, which I cannot play, Pokemon news and my general nerdiness. Choose 2 members of changeling royalty please!
Return of the game corner in a carnival/Chuck E Cheeses form. Play various minigames, maybe some even involving the 3DS’s gyroscope or cameras, to earn tickets that can be exchanged for rarer items like stones or evolution hold items.
I don’t think the 3DS can support it. You need a wireless connection to the servers, and GPS.
That’s definitely the crux of it. I’m fairly certain the 3DS has some semblance of GPS natively, and if not it’s not an obscene update to add it in. The wireless connection is the biggest hurdle, but again I could see Nintendo or other companies selling mobile hotspots for that exact purpose.
but
isn’t pokemon go specifically for mobile phones like the android and
ios? although it’d be cool to see pokemon go on a nintendo, i don’t
think it would make sense or if the 3ds is really capable of that power.
plus it might ether overshadow or be overshadowed by pokemon sun and
moon (a main series title) if pkmn go were to be on the 3ds
It actually wouldn’t be the first time that such a game was on a handheld console, and on mobile phones, just look at Invizimals from Sony, as they desperately want you to. Nintendo has put out some other mobile titles before and there’s often an equivalent put out on the 3DS, though perhaps missing some more mobile-centric aspects. As for the 3DS being capable of it, I don’t doubt it. There was a Pokemon game that came out around the midpoint of the 5th gen that let you catch Pokemon through AR interaction much like Pokemon Go, and that was on the DSi.
The biggest concern would be it overshadowing or being overshadowed by Sun/Moon, but Nintendo’s already said that you would be able to transfer Pokemon from Red/Blue/Yellow to Sun/Moon through Pokemon bank, and I could easily see Pokemon Go implementing a similar system if it did get some form of release on 3DS.
I can’t help but wonder why Pokemon Go is completely unavailable on 3DS. 1st party platform with rear and forward facing cameras and touch screen…the only thing I can think of is the lack of a dedicated wireless network but I could see Nintendo selling wifi or 4g cards for the 3DS and making a killing.
Niantic has just restarted their rollout of Pokemon Go to Europe and other locations. Much like the initial launch of the game in the US that means a lot of new people jumping on the servers, hence periods of spotty connection and downtime while Niantic adjusts.
Niantic is a relatively small company, and as much as people were looking forwards to Pokemon Go it’s hard to fathom that within its first week it is being considered the largest mobile game in history, and has beaten porn on Google search lists.
Be patient, the servers will be back up and running soon.
Rowlett evo: Great design, cool concept. Doesn’t really seem to fit with Rowlett’s theme but it wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened.
Popplio evo: A little odd for a starter evo, but very nice design and definitely appealing.
Litten evo: DON’T YOU FUCKING DARE!!!!!
Where did you get this? Because I’m pretty sure they’re fake
The designs came from a Chinese leak that’s been getting some attention because it predicted a Poison/Fire Pokemon just before Salandit was revealed. The image was pulled from a number of sites which brought more attention. I really hope these are fake if only because of the Litten evo
We can commission to be in the blog!? I just might have to do that.
You can commission whatever. If the commission happens to be something pertaining to the blog and you want it to be posted there then it’ll be posted there.
I said goodbye to my dog Mischief this morning, knowing that she’d greet me upon coming home as she has for 14 years. She wasn’t there when I walked through the door, and I’ll not get a chance to say goodbye again.
Quite pleasurable I”d imagine, seeing as how it would involve handling erogenous zones and relieving internal pressure. That’s a question better suited to ask individuals though, because not everyone would like it the same.
