I feel like no one is surprised that the Powerpuff Girls reboot is a steaming pile. Good, people have learned from the last time Cartoon Network decided to reboot a superhero property when we got Teen Titans GO!
Between BvS and PPG I feel as though the last few weeks have been filled with reboots of superhero properties that COMPLETELY missed the point of the characters. Oddly enough the creators of both have been completely unaware of how asinine they’ve been about things.
Just finished Quantum Break. It is a solid game and is presented in a way that is pretty unique. Gameplay wise it’s rather short, in that I finished on hard with 98% of all collectibles within 10 hours, including the 4 episodes of the associated live-action series each of which is upwards of 20 minutes. There is some replay value as there are choices that change the game, but the consequence of the choices are laid out in part when you make them.
It’s been getting a fair bit of praise, and it does deserve it, but it has its share of problems. Personally I see Quantum Break as the Microsoft version of The Order 1886, and it shares a lot of the strengths and weaknesses with the Sony exclusive.
Methinks I should open commissions formally again.
Still need to figure out the Raricow update for this week…..
Did Tumblr break an update? It’s freaking the fuck out on Chrome right now.
I’m aware that Honeysuckle looks too small in the update, mostly because of position and angling, but also because her size has been really inconsistent since Abi first donned the disguise. She’s a young changeling and doesn’t have the firmest grasp on consistency in her shapeshifting. Likewise I don’t have the firmest grasp on consistent measurements for some characters.
You know what really doesn’t encourage faith in a film? Reshoots months before release to add things in in response to criticism of a related property, or competition. Guess what DC’s doing with Suicide Squad?
Hmmm, to do to Raven Quill what has been done to Silver Spoon in Papi….Yay or nay?

Not all cowponies have extreme proportions, nor are all too confident. Earth ponies turned cowpony have their horns placed above their ears, and many tend to grow longer horns than those developed by their unicorn-cowpony kin. Coats are generally more uniform in color than other subspecies of cowpony, but a flare over the nose, or a large patch over the back or belly are very common.
