A couple changes to cowponies in the new run of Raricow:
A cowpony does not develop an udder until they become pregnant. As soon as an egg is fertilized the udder begins to form.
In Raricow cowponies are infectious through bodily fluids, though the contagion is in such negligible amounts that it is only really possible to “catch” the affliction through direct consumption of tainted fluids.
It is possible to drink from a cowpony for a time without changing, but once the changes have begin they will progress to completion
If a bullpony (male who becomes a cowpony) drinks heavily from a cowpony they run the risk of becoming a female cowpony. Again, they can drink without changing, but if the changes start they will finish
Lactose intolerance acts as an effective immunity to the infection through milk. The body is unable to break down the milk and so the magic dies.
The source of the magic infection cannot tolerate cold, so chilling stored milk will remove the infection from the fluid, but heating it may reactivate the infection after which it can remain viable for some time..
>In 2013, Masuda took a trip to Spain, and really liked Barcelona apparently >Spain is a nation on the Mediterranean sea, with Barcelona being right on the coast >Horsea is featured in the concept art, both as a fountain
And on a flag
The flag here is important, because
>The flag of the Mediterranean features a Seahorse, because the Mediterranean sea is vaguely shaped like one
SPAIN CONFIRMED FOR REGION
YEEEESSSSSSS
Spain and France are neighbors, which only feeds the hope that Sun and Moon could feature connected regions!
I can only comment on the story as I have not played a digimon game in the past and even that will be stunted as I have not seen very far into the game, but I believe it is very weak trope heavy and is overall like something you would find on a fan fiction site the character interactions feel very clunky and also the lines feel awkward and forced. And from what I have seen so far the dialog options have zero effect on how things go

Bingo. I played up to the end of Chapter 14 out of 20. The bulk of the story and cases consisted of what felt like super-generic anime filler, and the actual main story is pretty much just a melding of Tamers and Data Squad that is super easy to predict to the point that I had guessed every “twist” in the narrative hours before it happened.. It’s a very story-centric game, but it bogs it down so much with the super-generic fluff that the actual story loses purpose and importance while cutting out the chance to get into gameplay that is only really okay.
Nintendo has never not released some sort of third version
but they HAVE shaken up traditions, like there being two sequels in Black/White 2
There are unused areas and plot points in Kalos like:
the locked doors in the Power Plant
the TRAIN STATION that currently goes to nowhere in Couriway Town
THIS DUDE:
There were unexplained ghost girls too but moving on:
THE DEFINING FEATURE OF AN ENTIRE TOWN WAS ITS AUSPICIOUS SUNDIAL:
a Hex Maniac in Anistar mentions that THERE ARE MOONDIALS TOO
AND OKAY SO:
ZYGARDE gets introuded to be much more complicated than first presented in XY, with a variety of formes and shit? Pretty much being a core being that gathers little symbiotes up to be a bigger creature
Even though four new Zygarde variants are introduced in the movies/anime, they’ve yet to make their way into the game
The THIRD MEMBER of the Legendary Trio has new formes. that have not been in the game.
What do we know about Zygarde Cores?
From Bulbapedia: “ [Zygarde cores] are self-aware and can communicate via telepathy, monitoring the ecosystem around them. Zygarde Cores get their energy through photosynthesis.
“
HE IS POWERED THROUGH THE SUN
Now this is is obviously all conjecture, but THEORY/HOPE:
Pokemon Sun/Moon may be the Johto to Kalos’ Kanto
3DS carts could wholly hold two regions – They can hold up to 8GB, and ORAS clocked in right around 2; yeah, it may chug but it is DOABLE, entirely
The Nintendo Direct (and Magearna) hae shown there ARE new pokemon, so it’s almost certainly not “just” a 3rd iteration of Gen 6
BUT there is a lot of conjectural evidence showing we are not done in Kalos, like a literal train station
and there are a LOT of sun and moon themes present in Kalos
Maybe I’m making things up and seeing patterns in tea leaves because I’d love another two-region, 16 badge adventure
but here is my Game Theory thank you for your time
As a game I’d give Digimon Cyber Sleuth a 7.3/10 as a standalone outside of previous entries or other examples from the genre and without my own opinions on it.
As for my opinion of it I’d rate it 3.8/10 based off of personal experience, knowledge and experience with previous entries in the series, and in comparison to its competitors.
A generation of Pokemon typically lasts between 2-4 years, and in a recent teaser for 2016′s movie a new Pokemon was spotted, so the potential for the 7th generation to release late next year is fairly high. 6th gen changed a LOT for the series, but as with every generation there are some ideas that didn’t make it in for one reason or another, and at least some of those will make it in to the next generation. Personally, my list of top wants from the 7th generation include:
A new region based in part around Central Europe with connections to Kalos, featuring a variety of locales and a massive lake that forms a sort of inland sea.
100+ new Pokemon, including a few, FEW normal evolutions of previous Pokemon.
More Mega evolutions!
More version exclusives, including new legendary water types in the inland sea i.e. a sea serpent in one game and kraken in the other
Less constrictions on the Pokemon that might appear. Make Pokemon likely to appear in certain areas, but include more unusual or rare Pokemon all over with small encounter percentages
More gender/location dimorphism in Pokemon from previous generations and new Pokemon
Less constrictions to where you can go and when, not a complete abandonment of the route formulas, but open things up more and let trainers explore!
More trainer avatar customization
An expanded Friend Safari
A legitimately threatening enemy team
A rival who is aggressive and competitive, more akin to Green/Gary and Silver than more recent rivals
Starters that demonstrate two type triangles, as they did in 6th gen, but with secondary typing that works in inverse to their primary typing i.e. Grass/Steel, Fire/Fairy, Water/Fighting
A post game that, with Friend Safari and version exclusives, allows access to all previous Pokemon outside of event exclusives
There’s more that I want in particular, but those tend to just be type combinations/Mega evolutions/types of Pokemon that I would like to see.
Further wishes:
Pokemon following you a la Heart Gold, Soul Silver
Minor variations based off of breeding
Multiple recurring rivals
Since there’s supposed to be a big announcement involving Pokemon around February in honor of its 20th anniversary, bringing this back with some more wishes for 7th gen when it’s announced:
A return of morning/day/night changes in Pokemon location and probability a la 2nd and 4th gen
More urban trainers and Pokemon locations (parks, alleyways, sewers, abandoned high rises, etc.)
A starting city that is large and encompassing many parts of the average city in Pokemon.
A starting city that has multiple different places you could choose to start out from
The ability to fight some or all gyms out of order
Variations in gym leader teams based upon order encountered
A consistent and open rematch mechanic that allows players to rematch trainers and gym-leaders with trained or remixed teams
Do you know what really doesn’t help my opinion of a game that I consider a disappointment? A random difficulty spike that adapts to grinding apparently.
I tend to judge games as I play them, but try to withhold judgement on a game as a whole until I’m done with it. Now and then though there will be a game that just feels like it petered out after about 5 hours, and at the 16 hour mark I’m just about ready to stop altogether because of issues with the game, despite there supposedly being a fair bit left to go.
