I do! Cause I am too. As is my best friend.I don’t think you are, not quite anyway. I adore the movies, even 3 albeit to a lesser extent. I read the original novels while everyone else was first reading Harry Potter. One of the first games I ever owned was Jurassic Park for the SNES, and I kept my Lost World sheets for close to a decade. I don’t just love dinosaurs, for a time I lived dinosaurs and would beat my teachers at trivia, including one of the curators of the city zoo.
I AM HYPEDfleur is dinosaur confirmed.
time to draw pony head on brontosaurus
Shame that the brontosaurus is not a real dinosaur, but a fake dinosaur made from a combination of Apatosaurus and Camarasaurus fossils.

I AM HYPED
I don’t think people realize how hyped I am for Jurassic World right now.
I hadn’t considered that, but it’s somewhat fitting. It’s as I’ve said before, there is no shame in taking pride in one’s country’s successes but there is great shame in being blind to its faults.
Growing up in the U.S. I was told and taught every day that I lived in the greatest country in the world. I was brought up believing that the past was a dark and terrible place, but that we as a country had moved on from those times. I was taught that if you worked hard, no matter who you were and did your best to avoid, or apologize for your mistakes then you could and would find success.
Grown up I can’t go a day without being disappointed in my country. Every day is another example of how imbalanced the economy is, and how close-minded and selfish many Americans are. Every day shows just how broken and defunct our political system has become. Every day is a new lesson in how the darkness of the past is every bit as prevalent now as it has been for centuries.
Today, with Ferguson is an even more poignant example of what the United States is, whether that be what it has become or what it may always have been. It sickens me, it frightens me, and it shows just how wrong it is to tell the young that their country has no flaws.
I’m going to have to continue the hiatus on all blogs, and commissions through the next few days at least. Please bear with me, this is the busiest time of year for me.

Very much so. I just cleared the League and am just starting the Delta episode.
Land of the free home of the rich
What really scares me is that they all have significantly cheaper health care AND education, which means Americans not only make the least, they pay the most.
…wait, what?
Yup.
I realize that Tumblr is made up of mostly a younger generation, that’s why YOU need to pay attention to this, because YOU can make a difference.

We need a zombie-esque spoof movie that replaces the living dead with Black Friday shoppers.
