  • Huzzah!  I’ve reached 200 followers on here, and have had so much of my soul sucked out by work this last week that it’s hard to work on much of anything.

“This is bullshit, another assassin that’s just another white guy with stubble.  Stupid fucking lazy Ubisoft!  Oh, wait, what’s that?  He’s cute?  Never mind, Ubisoft.  We’re cool.”

tumblr we are not fucking doing this right now take a day off

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged  by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”  -MLK Jr.

This stuff pisses me off to no end.  Yes, it is terrible what happens to people everyday, no matter what color they are, no matter what language they speak, god they pray to, or land they call home.  However, more often than not the events of the world do not hold weight with the general public, as the world is large and full of troubles, while we as people are small and can only know so much.

A child’s death is a tragedy, it is, and one of the worst parts of it is that said child will never get the chance to share themselves with the world however they may.  It is that, however, that a person should be remembered for, because it is what a person has done with their life that we remember when they’re gone.  It is what they have done, and seen, and who they have touched and been touched by that define them, and that are affected by their loss.  Not because they were black, or white, yellow or brown or red or purple, but because they were, and are human.

We are all human.  We all feel pain at the loss of another, even if we never knew them.  We can all suffer from depression and turmoil as Robin Williams did, and so many others have.  We all hurt.  Discrediting someone else’s hurt because they’re white?  It is not right.  It is no different from dehumanizing one’s experience because they are black, or gay, or Muslim, or different.  Pain is pain, no matter who feels it, no matter the cause, and that should be respected.

Robin Williams will be sorely missed, by people who are white, and every other race, color, or identity one can have.  It is not because he was white, but because he was an actor and comedian, one who had a wide reach, whose works are celebrated and loved by people of all ages.  It is not because of what he was, but what he did that defined his life, and makes his loss hurt so many so profoundly.

Robin William’s suicide is a loss, for his family, and his friends, and all of the people who have loved his work.  It is a terrible hurt.  If you discredit that based on nothing but the color of his skin, then your scorn and hatred won’t hurt me, but I’ll surely pity you.

  • Recent events have killed my drive to draw for the night, and parents’ reactions to it haven’t helped.  Why must this happen when I have a cliffhanger to aggravate?

  • Rest in peace, Robin Williams.  May you bring as much joy and laughter in your next life as you have in this one, and may you find more joy for yourself.  You will be missed.

UNTIL THE NEXT FUCKIN MOVIE THAT IS

And the interrim in which the people they swore to protect chased them into hiding, hunted them down regardless of sides and tore them apart brutally for the sake of science.
