(1) Discording is not the corruption of a personality, nor does it remove freedom of choice, or free will.  Discording takes the most identifying, or most prevalent aspect of one’s personality and inverts it.  It does not change who someone is, so much as it changes their priorities.  The discorded Mane Six were different from their typical selves, but each one exhibited behaviors while discorded that are shown at other times before and after, such as Applejack lying to Pinkie during Party of One, or Fluttershy’s approach to the animals during at the Grand Galloping Gala.  It does not make you do things that you would not do if not discorded, at least not canonically so the ‘potential this can have for indirect murder’ is strictly hypothetical and based upon fanon.

(2) I pointed that out myself, and that Celestia’s actions were justified in that situation, but she was the one to initiate action at that moment.  Chrysalis talked and spilled the beans, Celestia made no attempt to reason, and instead attacked in an attempt to subdue the threat and protect her subjects.  Though the situation is different for the viewers in the blog, Celestia has no reason to view things differently from before, especially given recent events in show canon and a great amount of experience in blog canon.

(3) In the blog, Papi and the changelings came to Celestia in force.  They mean well, but the approach is poorly executed, due in large part to Papillon’s inexperience and flawed views of the situation, as well as an understanding that a small group, especially one that came in disguise would be met with just as much hostility without nearly as much deterrent.  Celestia did not seek out this confrontation, and those that she has been involved with in the blog’s canon may or may not have been initiated by Celestia and ponykind.  You don’t know as they have not been shown yet.

(Conclusion) The evidence that I have used to set up the headcanons I have for Celestia comes directly from interpretations of canonical events, and don’t necessarily line up with the widely accepted views of the character.  The evidence is still valid.  The portrayal of Celestia that I am using in the blog is based upon canonical evidence, as well as events that are canon to the blog that have not been fully divulged for reasons of narrative and time.  There are better reasons to be upset with a story or a character than the fact that it is different from what you expect, or from what is commonplace.  

Wii U is getting games.  Eventually.  Unfortunately, when someone says that Wii U has no games, it’s fairly true as the system lacks 3rd party support, while the other systems get all of the cross-platform titles.  Wii U doesn’t have much, and it’s not getting much in the foreseeable future. 

Luckily, the few games it does have tend to be pretty good, and actually make me want a Wii U.  A little.

What have we seen Discord do?

We saw him distort the land and alter the actions and perceptions of ponies.  He’s a spirit of chaos.  It’s his thing.  That was all that we saw during the flashback to Celestia and Luna’s confrontation with him, and the only indication that Discord’s actions had ever done any harm was in the stained glass window depicting him.  One that Celestia has in her castle.  There is bias in this.  It doesn’t make Discord benevolent, but it doesn’t make him violent.

As for his reform, that Celestia requested the Mane Six to see to it, that she wanted Discord reformed means that she either wanted him in a different state, or needed him for one purpose or another.

Such is not the case with changelings, especially not in Papi’s canon.  In the show’s canon we have seen changelings capture, impersonate and enslave ponies.  We saw them make a direct assault on Canterlot.  We had verbal threats that Celestia’s subjects were going to be used and consumed.  Discord altered the world through magic, but never caused harm to a pony that we have seen.  Chrysalis disabled Celestia and imprisoned her, captured and imprisoned Cadence for goodness knows how long, or with what supplies left for her survival, and staged a fullscale assault on the ponies’ political center.

That is just modern changelings, and that is just in the show’s canon.  Papi’s canon goes further on that subject.  Things have not always been as they were with Chrysalis, and the original changelings that Celestia would have first encountered and come to know have not been shown.  I’ve said it on here, and in the blog, changelings developed the capacity to eat love for a reason.  They are always hungry, and can/will eat most everything.

This ‘chapter’ in the blog is not the end point, it is just the beginning to a new chapter.  There are a lot of things that have not been shown involving changelings, Papi, Celestia, etc.

I don’t want to sound rude, but the fact of the matter is that you don’t know what changelings have done in the past that could warrant Celestia’s actions in the present, but believe me when I say that such hatred is justified.

Have patience, and bear with what you don’t like in the characterization or stop following if that alone is enough to sway you.  I have my reasons for portraying characters as I do, and those reasons will be shown and explained in their time.  If you can’t wait, and instead want me to simply spell everything out, then I’m sorry but I won’t be appeasing your wishes on this matter.

People care about the Xbone?

Her character stands as a benevolent leader and role model.  For her subjects.  She has been portrayed as going to extreme lengths in order to protect her subjects, or her position depending on how you view a scene.  

In the scene in which the blog is at now Celestia is alone with her aide, and the Queens whom have openly invaded Canterlot and whom are of a race that Celestia considers socially and cognitively inferior, as well as highly destructive.  These are views that she has held for a long time, and that have been reaffirmed by Chrysalis.

In the blog Celestia openly says that she will strike down the changelings, which she views as a threat, to protect her citizens as she has done before.  She is looking out for her own kind.  She is also the first to initiate action in such a confrontation, as she has done before.  IN CANON.  Her reasons for attacking Chrysalis were well founded and supported, but at the time Chrysalis was alone.  Celestia was the first to take direct action in that confrontation, not Chrysalis.  Celestia shot first, and that is what she is doing now.

Celestia is not ‘openly genocidal’, she is genocidal behind closed doors and only with those that she trusts greatly, such as a personal aide and secretary like Raven.  If I have failed to portray that by having the throne room be almost completely empty, save for the aforementioned parties, then I apologize.

If you follow a story blog, watch a movie, read a book, whatever, trust its writer.  They have reasons for doing what they do, and those reasons are rarely out in the open from the start.  If they are, then they are doing a poor job of telling the story.
