Hi there! -waves- Actually, according to the official 'The Legend of Korra' Facebook page, the remaining episodes are going to air on a week-by-week basis on the Nick(.)com site, Amazon, Hulu, Xbox, and Google Play.
As I said, they will be aired digitally, and Bryan Konietzko is looking into more digital distribution mediums. The point of the bad news is that Nick is pulling Korra from the air, due it its own stupidity with scheduling the show.

Bad news: Nickelodeon has pulled 5 out of the 6 remaining episodes of Korra from their schedule. They won’t be airing the rest of the season due to bad ratings, due in large part to their own issues with scheduling and marketing the season.
Good news: Bryan Konietzko is seeking means to distribute the series, and the remainder of the season (as well as future releases) digitally, so the series will continue. -

Except the AC team has rendered all of that. There have been dozens of female characters in the games, including Aveline a black female lead in Liberations.
With Unity they made the choice to have the lead protagonist be a male, and that’s their choice. There will be women in the game. Chances are the women will be well written and portrayed, as they generally are in AC games. Women were not included as playable character models for several reasons, including complaints that the team lacked the time or resources to do so (potentially bullshit, but possible as new skeletons would have to be made for every animation as, shocker, the proportions in limb and torso are different, on average, for men and women, and the team has had less than a year to make the game) and that no matter what you choose to make your avatar in other people’s games, the avatar you will always see while playing is Arno.
The most commonly stated complaints are fair, to a point, but also largely overlook what the same group has done in the past. Unity could have female assassins be playable, but they’re not, and that’s their choice be it one they made at the beginning or due to limitations. What people tend to forget is that we are in the age of DLC and post-release patches. Ubisoft has said that they want to include female models, but lacked the resources. They have included them in the past, and can again in post. It happens. -
People left because of that last update? Their loss, I really want to see where this is going.
Either people left because of the update, or a slip on the page, or a deleted account. Followers can be strange, and sometimes fickle people. I’m working on the update right now (in between stretches of Y) and it should be done either tonight or Friday.
