Why do you think a changeling’s hide is comprised of chitin, and is generally harder than horsehide?
The summer movie season is in full swing, and new movies are coming out on a regular basis intended to be little more than popcorn fluff and fodder. The new Apes movie is not one of these movies, and that is a very, very, very, VERYgood thing.

That’s a good way of handling things, and it would glow more brightly the closer their actions are to the purest form of their talent. Every day activities wouldn’t produce a very vibrant glow, for obvious reasons.
Chitin’s a giant softy, literally. The rapid growth that allowed for his ascension and mutation into a Goliath diverted proteins and minerals from his brain to his body, allowing for the size and hard chitinous plates, but causing his cognitive abilities to be stunted.
He’s fairly simple and innocent, and acts much like a giant puppy, especially with Mean Streak who tries to train him to be a warrior, and tends to fail. He is fiercely protective of his mother and his hive, but among those that he cares for there is no one sweeter.
Yes and yes. I’m partial to fruity muffins, and pies. For muffins, the best I’ve had were cranberry and blueberry muffins with a cream cheese crumble on top.
As for pies, sour cream raisin pie is a personal favorite, though it’s really hard to get ahold of as no one else seems to like it.
It’s a shame that I don’t have The Hub then. I love that special, and it’s always fun building an entire canon based off of a few minutes of interaction and expressions.
