THE most underrated scene in the entire movie. It was perfect. And do you know how often I see gif sets of it? This is the second one I’ve seen since the movie came out (It’s been over 5 months, now).
So let’s just pause for a moment from reblogging gifs of Tony’s sass, Loki’s sex appeal, or Bruce’s fluffiness and just appreciate this nameless, old, German guy and how, even though he knew he would probably die, he stood up to a tyrant to prove that the human race wouldn’t give up their freedom so easily.
Friendly reminder that it’s implied that he’s a Holocaust survivor.

Headcannon: nymphs tend to cuddle into any soft thing they can find. the chamber that the nymphs usually stay in is just filled with carpets, blankets, stuffed toys, all bought by drones who donated them. nymphs are also pretty smart, usually staying away from sharp things and heavy objects that can fall on them and lead to injury.
Nymphs like to cuddle in general, though they prefer other changelings or living creatures to soft inanimate things. They are clever little buggers though, I shan’t deny that in any way.

Headcannon: warrior changelings are incredibly loyal, if a person wins their respect or even their love, they will defend that person to the death. loosing the respect of a warrior changeling is generally considered to be a sign that you fucked up in a changeling community.
True! Warriors are stubborn and headstrong, not quick to trust and fiercely loyal to those they look well upon.

Headcannon: queens can use the hivemind to essentially override a drone's free will. papi usually doesn't do this unless she wants two drones to stop fighting and listen to her, although she admittedly hates doing it. chrysalis is also very fond of doing it all the damn time.
This is true. On top of it, a Queen can force a secondary conversion on a converted drone, completely suppressing their individuality and dulling their coat and features to that of a typical drone, much like Chrysalis’s army.

Headcannon: nymphs sometimes grow fond of certain ponies or changelings and can get ridiculously attached to them, to the point where if someone tries to take the nymph away from said person when the person doesn't want to have them be away (say, a changeling queen taking a nymph away because she wants them to be trained to be ruthless *cough*cryssy*cough*, they can get pretty aggressive to get back to the person. and when they mature...
I can see this happening, and leading to a Homeward Bound story.

Headcanon: Changelings can only change so many times before they need to return to a pod to regenerate. Also, if they stay as something else for too long, they have a tendency to get stuck in that form. Changelings cannot change into an inanimate object or something they've never seen before.
That’s an interesting way of tackling it, and one I’d love to see used if it hasn’t already. For Papi a changeling can take as many forms as they want so long as they have the magic to support the form, and though they can’t make themselves inanimate or inorganic, they can take on forms of their own creation and don’t necessarily need a reference to take a shape.

headcanon: what if at the end of their life cycles, all the changelings turned into what their names are as closely as they could.
That could lead to some interesting issues, but it wouldn’t fit very well in Papi’s canon as changelings tend to live as long as they are properly fed.
