I love this so much
We are also one of three nations without paid maternity leave, and the only developed (“first world”) country without maternity leave.
We are the only Western country without universal healthcare.
It costs more to have a child in the US than in any other country.
In many countries you don’t have to pay for college, and if students do pay, it’s nowhere near the amounts that the US students pay.
I could continue, but I think I’ve made my point.

How would you feel if you were invited to speak on a panel at a convention, and they paid for you to come and everything? Anonymous
I would be honored, though I’m not sure how I’d do. I have trouble talking in public, but for something that I’m passionate about, something that I know in and out, or something where I’m just being questioned about something I know, I think I could manage that.
I have never been to a convention, but I would love to attend. If it were to get to the point where I am invited, let alone paid, to do so then all the better.
