  • I see you as my Senpai. Your art is amazing, you have many friends, you're always nice, a thinker, always keeping your cool during tough situations, forgiving, always knowing what to say, pep talker, an all around great person. I feel sometimes I want to be like you. Sure I'm working on my own person, changing a few things in my life, but what you have, that's my goal. I look up to you and consider you one of my best friends.

I’ve had a long and trying day, and seeing this has made my mood so much better.  Thank you so much, Ace, you’[re a great friend.

  • What is senpai?
    sparkwise-deactivated20151215

Senpai is a Japanese honorific commonly used in regards to a peer that is considered more skilled, respected, or honored.  It’s a term for someone that you look up to, but who doesn’t necessarily qualify as a teacher, and is on the same societal level as the person calling them senpai.

  • Based on your following and how highly respected you are in the community, I strongly believe that you do in fact deserve Sempai feelings from people. Enjoy it, you're a role model to a lot of people.

And all of those people honor me with their praise and decision to call me senpai, no matter how undeserving I believe myself to be.

  • Do you ever feel that people on tumblr have secret sempai feelings for you, but are too shy to tell you? >//w//<
    Anonymous

When I get questions like this, it’s kind of hard not to.  The idea of it confounds me however.  There are so many people in tumblrpon, and on tumblr in general more deserving of senpai feelings than me.

  • What program do you use? At a guess based on the type of shading you do and the way it looks like the brushes are you use paint tool SAI
    nayomihataki

I do use SAI, and I use the watercolor tool to shade.
