How did changeling come to be? Natural evolution? Magic? Magical virus?
I plan on covering this further in Papi’s blog, but I’ll talk about it here.
The first changeling came about from a failed attempt to create an alicorn, before the time of Luna and Celestia. The attempt led to a conjoining of pony and parasprite in the mother of all changelings, who was VASTLY different from those around now. Most all of what makes a changeling came from rapid evolution from that point. -
Could a pony and changeling be able to have offspring? Is it even possible for them to have offspring without the help of the Queen?
A male drone could hypothetically reproduce with a female pony, and a changeling egg could hypothetically be fertilized by a pony. However, the offspring would be a hybrid or even abomination, and likely a very unstable one who would be shunned by one, if not both families. Of course, this is only going off of Papi canon, and others have done hybrid characters, like Lacewing of askthemanechesterponies.

Again, changelingnip. Just imagine getting Papi drunk and giddy on the stuff and having her get all cuddly.

head cannon: there's a certain mixture of fruit that creates a nectar like drink that attracts changelings like muffins attract derpy.

Head cannon: there's one very derpy giant changeling in the hive that often winds up being joked about a number of times by the drones because of his moon-moonesque behavior.

That would be absurdly destructive. There is already Chintin to fill the spot of giant changeling, and we can’t forget Buzz Buzz who is already the Moon Moon of the hive.

There is a group RP chat on skype for many people who have joined the hive. It was there that Poison Joke was banned after one Fickle Aura decided to ambush many members of the hive, including Papi, with the flower. Chaos ensued and Poison Joke was banned.

Changelings feed off of love because it can be produced by the changelings or others, and as such is rapidly renewable. Without love, a changeling can and will eat most anything, even cats.
There are some changelings who prefer to eat meat, or maintain their old diets, on top of consuming love. Others enjoy gnawing on substances that most changelings wouldn’t try to eat, like gemstones. Right, ruuqo? -
Head cannon: cats are banned from the hive because they just don't like changelings for some reason.
Eh, if anything cats would avoid the hive out of fear of being eaten.

Head cannon: papi has a few favorite drones in the hive, especially when it comes to... *ahem* "making eggs." she doesn't say it but sometimes she thinks that a few drones are better in bed then others.
Eeyup, though many drones have not been with Papi in that way. Those who she favors know who they are.
