I never imagined I would get this many people who like my blog! Thank you all so much! This picture took quite some time, but it was worth it for you all! I tried to include everyone who asked to be in the picture, I’m sorry if you asked to be included and I didn’t include you. I tried my best but there were so many of you, I love you all! STAY AWESOME!
Thanks for including Papi buddy! We have to meet up again sometime.
Sadly, there is an ocean, thousands of miles, and a lack of personal knowledge that prevents such a thing.
She is, as yet, unaware of the hive beneath her.
This has been answered on Papi’s blog, but I’ll answer it here anyway. Papillon accepts others into the hive only if they are willing to become changelings. Help from a regular pony, or one being accepted into the hive would be construed as a betrayal of their race should any future negotiations between Papi and the Princesses not go well.
Papillon believes that if a regular pony joins the hive, and they are found before she is ready or if peace cannot be achieved, then the pony will be labeled a traitor, and severely punished for it. As such she only accepts those willing to become changelings as changelings are not subject to the laws of Equestrians, and can be protected by Papillon and the hive.
Please send in any headcanons you have about Papi and the hive, or Fleur de Lis, I’m curious.
Or, ask about my headcanons for them. I want to share, and I’ll try to avoid story spoilers.
one of the WeLoveFine contest entries of mine, since they probably never get to be printed as shirts (well, thru WLF surely not) I upload them :)
Enjoy!

…..That would explain why so many have found the hive and joined……..
A changeling’s shape changing is one part illusion, one part acting, and one part reconstruction. A unicorn can perform a glamour to mask their features or create faux wings or other such alterations, but they can’t change their form to the extent that a changeling can.
It could be possible for a unicorn to take on all aspects of another creature, but it would be incredibly brief and incredibly taxing, thereby making the effort largely wasteful.
I’ve written a number of essays, a few horror short stories, a couple mysteries, and some sci-fi, but fantasy is my passion and forte.
Aww, thank you!
