  • Is it possible to change a drone into a look like yourself
    Anonymous

I’m assuming this is directed towards Papi, in which case it would be better to send it to her blog.  A changeling queen is a pure changeling, not one that was converted.  As such, though the drones could take the appearance of Papi as a disguise, they cannot become changeling royalty.  The only reason that Fleur became Papillon is because of chaos magic that fully changed her into a Queen.

  • head cannon, we can use the spring as an indoor swimming pool.

There’s no can.  As far as I’m concerned it’s been done several times.

  • head cannon, holy is your princess
    libby-doe-mods-denofiniquity-de

Holly was an old friend of Fleur’s and that friendship has remained though Fleur is now Queen Papillon, and Holly has become a drone.  Holly is one of Papi’s favorites (Shh, don’t tell the others!) but she’s not a princess.  Papi may have an actual princess in time, but we’ll see on that.

  • head canon, I miss my mane. ;~;
    libby-doe-mods-denofiniquity-de

All of the drones still maintain a remnant of their mane, commonly referred to as a fringe.  The beauty of being a shapeshifter though, is being able to retake an old appearance, or alter a current one if one finds their appearance unsatisfactory.

  • *head canon. Some changelings use the glow of the eggs as night lights.*
    libby-doe-mods-denofiniquity-de

I can easily see this happening.  I can also see some changelings being hypnotized by the glow kind of like flies and a bug zapper.  *cough*Buzz Buzz*cough*

  • *head canon, the hive is damp, but warm. Not uncomfortably so, but it never heats up much in the summer, and we don't freeze in the winter.*
    libby-doe-mods-denofiniquity-de

This is very true!  The benefit to having the hive deep underground is that the heat from summer is retained through the winter, though it never gets too hot inside the hive.  Further more, it is rather damp, and there is even a natural spring not too far from the hive.

Not sure about the first part, but I’ve gotta say no to the second.  It’s already been established in the blog where the hive is, namely within the crystal caverns underneath Canterlot.

  • The queen wants bees
    Anonymous

I can just see Papi in a beekeeper’s outfit (Rather unnecessary as her hide is too hard for bees to sting)  Should she ever have a true daughter, a successor to the throne if you will, she may call her princess her “Little Bumblebee.”

  • The queen loves her drones but still longs for someone to take place as a form of "king" by her side to help manage the hive.
    askgavir

I actually have several such offers in Papi’s inbox.  The way I see it though, is that Changelings operate under a matriarchy like many hive insects.  A king is completely unnecessary, and actually unwanted.  That doesn’t mean that Papi doesn’t or won’t end up having someone that she ends up loving more than, or in a more intimate way than the other drones, but time will tell on that.
