({primarina is my gen 7 fave, then again, the last few other then x/y water was my starter, mostly due to wanting to screw the haters, piplup,oshawott,and poplio they were all hated on for just their looks for some reason
I almost always start a generation with the water starter. The only one I remember actively choosing a different starter at first was in Ruby where I started with Torchic.

7th Gen? That’s actually really hard. There are a lot of really cool and great Pokemon this gen, and there hasn’t been one that I’ve used that I haven’t loved. Primarina and Salazzle are favorites, because usability and furry bait, but I also love Araquanid, Mudsdale, Vikavolt, Kommo-o, Tsareena, Mareanie, etc.

She is a mink as a furry, and ferrets and minks are already very closely related.

Continuing from the Mink Papi idea, have a couple of quick sketches of a less than enthused badger Vaspira, and a @ask-fickleaura-mod-blog reindeer who spies the booty.

I’ve been meaning to design furry iterations for various Papi characters, so who better to start things off with than Papi herself as a mink?
Still happy with the idea of Mink Papi. If there are other characters from the hive, or other characters I’ve used in general in MLP stuff that you’d like to see made into a furry, or have a fursona, feel free to send in suggestions.
