some people think alolan persian is based off the british shorthair.

I can see that from the coloration, and from looking at it from the front. From the side though the Persian influence is definitely apparent.

Alolan Persian finally makes sense to me. Much like Alolan Meowth it was specifically bred by the Alolan royals to have the physical traits that it does, including the face. It’s face isn’t just round, it’s flat. You know what else has a round, flat face that was specifically bred to have a round, flat face? Persian cats in the real world.

Didn’t get too much done on the Nuzlocke today, did catch a Venipede and named her Miasma though. She’ll be taking Venin’s place.
