Wrong, faceless one, delightfully so as well, the young Vespa was always a little grump, after returning from Vaspira’s hive she was actually more lighthearted.

Vespa was a grump from the moment she hatched, and when she had Vaspira had already left for her own hive.  Papillon’s hive is rather informal and loose, great for the growth and happiness of some, but not all.  Vespa thrived after leaving Papi’s hive for the more strict setting of her other mother’s home.  Vaspira provided direction and structure in a way that Papillon did not, and perhaps could not, and Vespa loved that.

Parents aren’t the same, nor are their offspring.  While Abeille and Libellule would thrive with Papi, Vespa would not.  She needed more order and discipline like Vaspira provided.  Don’t ever say that Vaspira Fabulicious Dalmonte is a bad parent who makes her daughters unhappy.
