I love the design, but I always favor the other two, especially in ORAS.  Their respective Megas really seal the deal, with Mega Blaziken accentuating it’s already broken attack and giving it extra speed which was it’s biggest issue, Mega Swampert becoming a hulking tank of meat and mud that, in rain, is a monster, and Mega Sceptile getting boosts that only serve to accentuate the strengths that it has but is ill equipped to use, a typing that largely serves to add more weaknesses instead of resistances, and an ability that does nothing to help it at all.

The Treecko line is the least potent of the Hoenn starters, and that is only made more apparent by its Mega which could have been wildly more effective with simple changes.  That’s why I think that Gamefreak hates Treecko.
