Don't put her in impulsively. Only do it if you can make it work and it wouldn't be shoehorned in. But if you just want to make the blog up as you go, then it's no big deal. Whatever you wanna do.
Eh, I like the character and the design, and Twilight having a pseudo-pupil makes for some interesting options down the line. Frankly I would much MUCH rather include Starlight, or even Sunset Shimmer than I would Rainbow Dash in the blog.
