I know that prejudice against white people exists. I’ve seen it.
A few years ago, my brother got kicked out a school for finally lashing out at a pair of bullies who had been physically and verbally bullying him and multiple other kids for over a year, and the bullies got to stay because they were black and fit the diversity code.
Sometimes it happens.
BUT IT ISN’T RACISM.
IT JUST ISN’T.
IT’S PREJUDICE.
Racism- racial prejudice or discrimination (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)
It is a very, very minor case, and incomparable to many other issues of racism, but if a person is discriminated against, or is the victim of prejudice because of their race or ethnicity above other reasons then it is technically racism.
Should it be raised and fought about in comparison with other racist actions and deeds directed at other races? No, but it is still an exhibition of preference and prejudice upon racial lines and therefore is racism.
