My night was alright.  Without pointless argument things went well and smoothly.  

I don’t mind getting into an argument with someone, so long as they can keep it civil.  If they can’t, then they need to think about what it is they are doing to others, and to themselves, and if I’m familiar with them or their backgrounds then I should take that into account more.

No matter how angry or opinionated someone is, youth and inexperience should be taken into account when debating or arguing with someone.  One’s own limitations should also be considered.
