Head-cannon: When a changeling princess or queen selects a suitable mate, that mate has a 50% likelihood of becoming that changelings sex slave.

It depends largely on the hive and the individual.  Because they are the only changelings that can produce eggs, Queens are unlikely to settle upon a single mate, and instead will take many in order to keep the genetic makeup of the hive somewhat varied to protect from certain diseases and ailments.
Should a changeling Queen like an individual, however then she may seek that individual out over others.
