I was thinking about that post i reblogged earlier, about bronies?

It is a choice. You choose to call yourself a brony. Just because some assholes chose to call themselves a brony, doesn’t mean all bronies are assholes. 

We didn’t choose to associate with “rape apologists, misogynists, racists, ableists, and homophobic dickhats”.

We chose to associate with people who enjoyed the same show as us. Who loved the characters and story and animation. Who wanted to make art and share ideas.

And that’s still who I’m associating myself with! I don’t associate with “rape apologists, misogynists, racists, ableists, and homophobic dickhats” IN GENERAL. I stay away from them in ALL FANDOMS. In my ENTIRE LIFE.

Because there’s going to be “rape apologists, misogynists, racists, ableists, and homophobic dickhats” everywhere. Not just bronies.
