  • Headcannons: nymphs chirp when they're hungry and purr when they're full. there's also enough nymphs in papi's hive that if you somehow put an even amount into every room, you could walk into that room and possibly see anywhere from 5 to 10 right off the bat if the rest of them are hiding.

    While possible (a Queen’s reproductive cycle can lead to dozens, if not hundreds of eggs in the span of a few months) it’s not so at the moment.  With the Hive as large as it is, Papi has stopped her cycles until it is necessary to replenish numbers again.

    Nymphs tend to chirr and chirp when they’re hungry, bored, and even tired.  When they’re full and have their little glowy bellies they don’t purr so much as they chitter and click.
