The real reason Decidueye is part Ghost type…

Alolan Persian finally makes sense to me. Much like Alolan Meowth it was specifically bred by the Alolan royals to have the physical traits that it does, including the face. It’s face isn’t just round, it’s flat. You know what else has a round, flat face that was specifically bred to have a round, flat face? Persian cats in the real world.
As much as I love new Pokemon being introduced in a generation, having a variety of Pokemon available, new and old, is always what makes or breaks a Pokemon game, and that is more apparent with each generation.
I have 0 problem with a generation having less than 100 new Pokemon if it gives a shitload of variety to what you can find from previous generations. With Alola we’ll have upwards of 800 Pokemon to work with after transfer, and personally I think that’s more than enough to keep track of right now.
I understand the desire for more new Pokemon, I do, but there’s a reason that 2nd gen is so fondly remembered, and 5th gen was so poorly received, at least by me.
I love seeing people complain that certain Pokemon in Sun and Moon have evolutions that don’t make sense because their inspirations aren’t the same species as the preevolutions.
Seriously? Do you think that’s never happened?

All these Pokemon leaks really ruined my Pokemon experience when I was 6, you couldn’t even believe.
“ Kommo-o’s greatest move is the uppercut. It swings its arm up from below in a punch of great skill and force, sending its foe flying into the sky “
Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Kommo-o’s greatest weapon is the freaking Shoryuken aka Rising Dragon Fist?
sapphicsstarlight replied to your post: “Type: Null’s evolution is so lazy! It just loses…
well, it’s actually what it really is. it’s just type:null destroying its helmet. so you can’t complain because it’s literally not supposed to be any different from type:null except for its helmet
Don’t get me wrong, I fully understand why it is what it is, I’m saying that people are inevitably going to complain that it’s lazy or a terrible design as happens so often with newer Pokemon.
As for it not being any different except for its helmet, that’s not entirely true. The Pokedex does say that its temperament and personality is different from when it’s Type: Null and when it’s Silvally and it doesn’t get access to Multi-Attack or its RKS system ability until it evolves.
Chances are that if bred Silvally will always start as a Type: Null in mechanics if not in lore, so I’d definitely consider it an actual family instead of something like a form change.
“Type: Null’s evolution is so lazy! It just loses its helmet!”
Mother. Fucking. MAGNETON.
MOTHER. FUCKING. DUGTRIO!
Next scheduled trailer or news dump for Sun and Moon is 10/14. Corocoro is set to come out on 10/15 and may very well leak ahead of time. The show Pokenchi is supposed to have info on the games and anime on 10/16, and we’re getting a demo version on 10/18.
I am both excited, and afraid. If they can show this much info, how much is in the games themselves? The file sizes have already been shown to be double that of X and Y.
