Hmmm, how to have had AJ become Aphid in @asktherottenapple?
A. Changeling parasite sent by Chrysalis to infect one of the Mane Six?
B. AJ was always a changeling but never knew and Aphid is a manifestation of repressed resentment and desires?

What should the name for evil changeling queen Applejack be? Quick vote to decide the name for the main character of Rotten Apple. I can’t just call her evil queen AJ.

That’s actually where it started. Scroll Scribe/Darnell suggested an image of AJ molting out of her pony skin as a changeling drone or queen. I drew it, really like the design I did for the changeling part shown, and the eyes reminded me a lot of Chrysalis so the idea of an evil, corrupted applebug has been eating away at me ever since. I’d need to come up with a regal name for her though.

Fine! Okay! I really want to do an ask blog where AJ ends up corrupted and becomes an evil changeling queen, operating on some of the same changeling headcanons as Papi but completely separate from Papillon’s Hive.
And it’s all @darnelg‘s fault.

Now I kind of want to see AJ turning Rainbow or Rarity into a Changeling.
Now that sounds like something that’d happen in an ask blog, which I don’t intend on doing. So maybe, but probably not.
