HE ONCE BECAME PURE COSMIC EFFING ENERGY AND SHORTLY AFTER REMATERIALIZED AS A HUMAN BEING TO PREVENT HIS DEATH. DARWIN IS LITERALLY INEFFINGVINCIBLE. AND YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT A PATHETIC BALL OF KINETIC ENERGY FROM SEBASTIAN SHAW MERKS HIM?!?!?! THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE OUT TO KILL THE BLACK MAN IN THE PLOT AND LITERALLY WROTE THIS SCENE WITH NO REGARDS TO DARWINS POWERS WHATSOEVER AND ITS FRUSTRATING THAT THEY WOULD GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO KILL HIM OFF LIKE THAT

I’d love for his adaptation to the concentrated Havok blast to be expelling it through dissolving a physical form only to reincorporate later. The rest of the team wouldn’t know what happened, but it could explain why he looks so calm while blowing up. Who knows, maybe Darwin will be in Apocalypse after living under the radar for a while.

David Ayer has tweeted the first full cast picture of the Suicide Squad. Will Smith also revealed the full Deadshot costume on his Facebook page.
Had to reblog. Man. It’s just so weird seeing the stark differences between Marvel’s universe and DC’s. We’ve been inundated with bright colors and cartoonish sensibilities for so long (and for so many movies) that the DC slate is going to be an adjustment for me mentally. At least (it seems) DC is committing to one look.
Muted colors, characters are pretty difficult to recognize for those not intimately familiar with the Suicide Squad concept, and there’s little to no character present in any character except for maybe Harley. Also, what is with Deadshot’s mask? Why is it so starkly white when the rest of the costume looks like red and gray paintball gear? Faith in DC movies dropping.
