Repeat after me:
A fandom does not define a show. A show can be great with a shitty fandom, or shitty with a great fandom. You can love a show and hate the fandom, and you can love a fandom but hate the show.
Like what you want to like. If others judge you for it or say you can’t like it for whatever reason then remember that they’re not you and they don’t get a say in what you like.
Glass houses, guys.

The Internet is a glass house, so don’t throw stones unless you want stones thrown at your “glass house”

He looks like he wants to cry, this is disgusting. She’s reaching, her husband did not invent that white boy comb over or fitted black suits she needs to get the fuck over herself. Like honestly, who is she?
She didn’t lie. He should invent his own style. YALL are acting like she told him to kill himself. Stop being so fucking sensitive, it’s the music industry. No one “bullied” this kid lmfao
bruh……the kid wore a suit and gelled back hair…….he is just dressing appropriately for the show LIKE? does her lizard have the patent on pushed back hair and suits???????
He looks great and if that goth disaster whatever her name is can’t see that she should take a good long look in the mirror
Truly, how dare he copy whatsherface’s husband by using a formal style to perform, a formal style that has been around for DECADES and been the norm for formal performance for a long, long time. She may not be telling him to kill himself, but she is calling him disgusting based off of how he looks, and her fellow judge has the gall to compare him to Norman Bates and make jokes about mass murder because of how he looks.
Why should appearance and style be the defining factors of a TALENT COMPETITION?

Friendly reminder that Frankenstein’s creature learned how to speak, read and write without a formal teacher in about a year. Also, he’s likely more well spoken than you.
Not really a friendly reminder if you tack on a jab like that at the end is it?
If you consider being told that a character who regularly quotes Milton during extended dialogues and soliloquies is better spoken than you to be an insult, then you have my condolences.
Also we seem to have very different friends as I’ll often poke fun at my friends and they’ll gladly poke fun at me.

cursed-shining-armour answered your question: Is it bad that I don’t think I’ve ever heard of…
Understandable if you didn’t read science fiction or fantasy.
Not only did I read fantasy and sci-fi heavily while growing up, I’ve written and published fantasy novels and wrote my thesis over the place of modern fantasy, sci-fi and other genre fiction in the world of literary criticism. I have never heard of Terry Pratchett.
