I’m actually a little surprised that while some people have commented on the less boisterous alterations to Raricow’s figure during the transition, and one has commented on the speech changes, no one has mentioned the other changes she experienced when the spell came out in full.
How is it that the stuff that I spend a lot of time on are either poorly received, or ‘controversial’, yet the moments that are put out quickly with comparatively little effort are loved?
Either way, thank you very much Sorel!
Thank you! I’m glad I managed to portray something well for once.

I’m torn between wanting to work on Papi for the sake of continuing the story, wanting to work on Raricow for the sake of enjoyment, and not wanting to work on anything.
It’s been a week since the last time I updated Papi, and 2 since the last update in Canterlot, but I’m really not feeling the drive to work on an update. Maybe later today, or Thursday. Either way I ought to have an update up by the end of the week. If more Raricow happens to come along before then, well that may very well happen.

You’re dead to me.
Allow me to elaborate: I read the first book a few years after it came out, and really didn’t much care for it. Meanwhile, everyone and their mother’s sister’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate wouldn’t shut up about how amazing it was.
Frankly put, it annoyed me and I never had any desire to try and get into the series again. I’m willing to give it a shot, but if people go about hyper-hyping the series again it won’t help me enjoy it now.
At some point I suppose I should see what all of this ‘Harry Potter’ hullabaloo is about. Maybe.

(People will follow something faster if a mane six or very famous character is involved)
I’m aware, but that doesn’t stop it from being surprising, especially since some ‘big’ blogs have followed Raricow that don’t follow Papi.
It’s weird to think that Raricow started Friday (technically) and is already getting close to 150 followers.
