I still don’t get why anyone would ever sign up to work security at Freddy Fazzbear’s. Even without knowing what goes on after hours, you’re signing up for $4/hr.

I get that, but seeing as Freddy Fazbear’s is a children’s pizza place using animatronics and themes that are apparently extremely uncommon outside of the US, and all narration is done with a midwestern accent, we can assume that the establishment is in the United States and therefore subject to minimum wage requirements as it is not a position dependent upon tips. As such, the security guard is accepting a job that pays significantly less than minimum wage in a time when said wage is most likely around what it is today with the tablet cameras dating the game’s setting within the last few years.
I get needing a job to get a job, but you would be hard pressed to find someone to work nights at a place for $3.25 less than minimum wage, especially in today’s economy.

Ah, sorry for my vague ask. I also live in Lincoln and my work schedule is usually from early mornings to afternoons between 25-35 hours a week at $10/hr. I'm not in school so I have a lot of free time. The highest I'm willing to pay for rent is $450/month. Does this sound alright with you?

You’ll have to forgive me for being wary of an anon asking for my contact information. I’m looking for a roommate in the Lincoln Nebraska area so I can move out, if someone has the same issue then I’ll be happy to talk, but I would prefer that a potential roommate not be so anonymous.
Because it’s somewhat important to know for potential roomies, I work full time (mostly mornings) for $8.90/hr. After taxes my average paycheck is around $600, and my student loans are only about $400/month. I can probably scrape by on my own with either a studio or single bedroom apartment, but I am definitely open to splitting an apartment with someone and actually having wiggle room in the finances for pointless things like supplies, emergencies, games, etc. Also food.

Too bad you don’t have a hive of workers irl to go through it to find the good questions.
If I did I could also have them work on the updates themselves so I could take a break from weekly updates and not feel bad about it.

If anyone knows anyone in Lincoln Nebraska who is looking for a roommate, please point them my way. It’s past time that I move out, and while I can probably get by without a roommate, I’d like to be able to eat more than once a week.
