I finally find a decent stream of the BBC America premiere of Doctor Who series 8, watch 20 minutes and my browser crashes and refuses to reload the stream. Dammit.
I actually found it rather upsetting seeing such a vibrant, energetic and strong character in a wheelchair with obvious depression, in a way the it kind of hit close to home.
A team of researchers at Michigan State University has developed a new type of solar concentrator that when placed over a window creates solar energy while allowing people to actually see through the window. It is called a transparent luminescent solar concentrator and can be used on buildings, cell phones and any other device that has a clear surface. And, according to Richard Lunt of MSU’s College of Engineering, the key word is “transparent.”
Sometimes I think I’d be a bad parent because I’d put a baby monitor in my child’s room, and make demonic noises in the dead of night. Then I think it would be funny.
