  • Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Review

The summer movie season is in full swing, and new movies are coming out on a regular basis intended to be little more than popcorn fluff and fodder.  The new Apes movie is not one of these movies, and that is a very, very, very, VERYgood thing.

As always, spoiler alert below the break.

As always, suggestions and requests for the next movie/game/show to be reviewed are welcomed.  Until then, enjoy a review for the newest Apes movie, and see it if you can.

As one who has been in each position here, I can say that this is 1000000% accurate.

It’s not a headcanon if it is preestablished scientific fact.

Yes.  Good.  Love is tastier when the giver is flustered.

  • A Changeling Queen's ears are NEVER safe from the noms! (Aka, teething nymphs)

Why do you think a changeling’s hide is comprised of chitin, and is generally harder than horsehide?

  • Headcannon: some nymphs at like kittens, often shiny objects and things that make funny noises are all that's needed to distract them. others act like puppies, following drones they happen to like or is giving off the most love.

  • Here's a headcanon of mine: Cutiemarks glow when that pony is doing something in relation to what their cutiemark represents.
    sorel-estia-deactivated20160504

That’s a  good way of handling things, and it would glow more brightly the closer their actions are to the purest form of their talent.  Every day activities wouldn’t produce a very vibrant glow, for obvious reasons.
