This question is more for papi but answer as mod if you desire; if papi had to take on any mate, and I mean ANY; dragon, griffon, bull, alicorn, pegasus, etc., what non-changeling would type would she pick?
Most likely a unicorn. Seeing as Papillon was formerly Fleur de Lis, and there tends to be a general favoring of unicorns in Canterlot it makes the most sense.

What do you think of the finale? Will it affect the blog's canon?
I thought that the season finale was fantastic, even if the Rainbow Power was a touch Deus Ex Machina in its use. As for affecting Papi’s canon, no. I may reference Tirek at one point (I have a question stewing pertaining to him, but the events of “Twilight’s Kingdom” have no direct effect upon the progression of the Hive’s story.

hello fleur mod, hows it going today?
It goes well, though ‘today’ only started some 30 minutes ago. Though my job is rather terrible, it is stable and pays somewhat well (so long as I get hours). I’ve just finished my undergrad studies and will be getting my diploma within the week, and I’ve found the closest thing I’ve ever known to love recently.
