Probably. The comics aren’t quite comparable with the movies though, as the movies take aspects from various comic series.

It depends largely on the hive and the individual. Because they are the only changelings that can produce eggs, Queens are unlikely to settle upon a single mate, and instead will take many in order to keep the genetic makeup of the hive somewhat varied to protect from certain diseases and ailments.
Should a changeling Queen like an individual, however then she may seek that individual out over others. -

So I have noticed some people complaining about not being featured in followers pictures or anything.
And that the people making the followers pictures only pick the “popular blogs” or their friends.
I just have a couple things to say.
Firstly, the person making the followers pic has the right to pick whoever they like to put into the followers picture whether that blog is popular or not.
Secondly, why can’t they include their friends, their biggest supporters?
Thirdly, just because they didn’t include you doesn’t make them ungrateful or appreciative of your existence.
fOURTHLY, if you’re constantly saying how much you wish to be in a followers picture it’s kinda making you sound like you want your OC to be drawn for free and that’s kinda….?? :V what
5thLY, if your blog is filled with reblogs, barely featuring anything of your OC, chances are, you’ll probably never end up in a followers picture.
SIXILY, a lot of us artist bloggers have hundreds, thousands of followers. We can’t draw everybody now, especially since some of us have complicated style.

While I make it a point to include lesser known blogs in Papi’s hive, if they take the time to send in a reference at least, this is a very VERY accurate breakdown. People put in who they want to put in to their own work, and it takes time to do so.
I understand it looking like a circlejerk when a handful of people are including one another in appreciation posts, but there’s reason to that. People appreciate friendship and interaction. If you take the time and effort to talk to someone like a person, instead of like some sort of art machine then they will be more likely to appreciate you as a person and a friend.
It’s perfectly alright to be upset when you see someone not include you in a post, but it’s not alright to complain to the artist about it because it was their choice, and they had their reasons. -
Dad on cultural appropriation. (conversation was in Spanish)
- Me: Hey Dad, I have a question
- Dad: Alright, lets see if it's within my reach
- Me: What do you think of cultural appropriation?
- Dad: what?
- Me: Cultural appropriation.
- Dad: I think you mean acculturation.
- Me: yeah, I do. But I was using the term the Social Justice Morons use.
- Dad: It's a necessary part of being human, you can't just keep the one culture all of your life!
- Me: So how offended would you be if a bunch of white people started speaking Spanish?
- Dad: Offended? I would be glad, at least they speak my language!
- Me: What if a white guy made tacos?
- Dad: what kind of taco? why would I be offended? Did I invent it and patent it?
- Me: Nope, just an ordinary taco made by a white guy.
- Dad: Why would I be offended? It would like a German guy getting offended because I grilled a hamburger
- Me: Well, because it's a Mexican food, it was discovered and is integral to Mexican culture. What if a white person doesn't respect the history of the taco.
- Dad: When the woman who first created a taco did that, did the Angels descend from heaven with a deed and a copyright form signed by God informing us that only Mexicans can make it?
- Me: Nope. It's just a taco.
- Dad: Precisely, it's a taco, eat it. I would actually be happy for that white guy, tacos are pretty good.
- Me: What if Tyler wanted to celebrate El Dia de Los Muertos? On his own?
- Dad: Tell him to pace himself the skulls are made of pure sugar.
- Me: What if he wanted to celebrate El Dia de la Independencia?
- Dad: Culture is not something handed to you by God to protect and nurse, it's just something that happens to you, and when you think you have it figured out, it changes. That's what cultures do. They change. You know what these people are trying to do, right?
- Me: Yeah,
- Dad: They want us all to hate each other and not speak to each other. They want us Mexicans in Mexico, Afro-Americans in Africa, Asians in Asia and none of us talking or being nice to each other. With no resources, no trade, no rights, and only the one language that only we're allowed to speak so that we can't communicate with anyone outside. And that's after they'd kill off all the white people. They're like the KKK, if the KKK didn't have balls.
- Me: I arrived at the same conclusion.
- Dad: Make yourself a coffee.

Yeah, I definitely would have liked to see more Godzilla in Godzilla, but when he was around it was awesome!

why must all movies have some form of porn in them now.
Because there’s someone who finds that interest in everything. Some people really, really like seeing large amounts of property damage, and Godzilla does that very well.

Godzilla’s not a bad movie. It’s a great homage to the original films with some great tension and set up at times. And borderline disaster porn if that’s your thing.
