Its been far longer than Papillon thinks it has in the hive. Being underground combined with all the *cough* distractions *cough* has skewed her perception of time.
…..That would explain why so many have found the hive and joined……..

Headcannon: Can unicorns replicate the mimicking powers of a changeling, albeit briefly and with a considerably higher energy output?
A changeling’s shape changing is one part illusion, one part acting, and one part reconstruction. A unicorn can perform a glamour to mask their features or create faux wings or other such alterations, but they can’t change their form to the extent that a changeling can.
It could be possible for a unicorn to take on all aspects of another creature, but it would be incredibly brief and incredibly taxing, thereby making the effort largely wasteful. -
Do you mainly write in fantasy, or have you tried writing in other genres? Perhaps nonfiction?
I’ve written a number of essays, a few horror short stories, a couple mysteries, and some sci-fi, but fantasy is my passion and forte.
