Headcanon: Overuse of the Queen's ability to command/control another changeling will slowly wear away at the changeling's will until they become a mindless extension of her. This is unnoticeable by the victim and the Queen as they are subtle changes over time.
There is a reason why the changelings present during the Canterlot invasion have the body structure of Papi’s drones, and not warriors or workers…..

Headcannon: Papillion will attack Chrysalis' Hive, but not kill anychangeling, and will, once proving her Hive is superior, offer to adopt any changeling into their hive that don't want to follow Chrysalis.

Once a month would be too often. A few times a year sure, but monthly? Just imagine the big strong Warrior changelings in frilly dresses though….

Headcanon: Places where many changelings died are considered cursed and forsaken by all other changelings because they can still affect the living causing them to suffer hallucinations, hemorrhage and death.
