Egoraptor, speaking truth to power.
Yeah, this is bullshit. It’s all bullshit.
A staff member on the 2011 show went on a podcast a few months back and revealed what would happen -

Now the reason they were able to do all that? THE SHOW GOT RENEWED. There was a season 2 approved and they got as far as completing a full outline for the season and scripting six episodes.
Then the renewal got rescinded as a cost cutting measure, because LEGO offered a much cheaper knockoff called “Legends of Chima”.
Even better, the show was originally supposed to be on Adult Swim’s Toonami block, a block for adult action cartoons. However, the executives moved it to the network proper.
Given all that, and that the renewal was approved, do not put this “You didn’t watch and now you deserve this shitty Tumblrized garbage fire” on viewers. Because people did watch!

New in 2019, Thundercats Roar!

From the same network that brought such beloved and long-running reboots as

And of course
I’m considering DMing a small-party D&D 5e campaign that would only have sessions 1-2 times a month alongside another campaign that is currently running weekly. Not certain on when sessions would be, but hoping for a party that’s only 2-4 tops. Anyone interested that is not in my main group?
I watched reruns of the original 80s Thundercats growing up and loved it despite the stupidity.
I watched the 2011 reboot and adored the story and animation, even if it did have problems. I was mortified when it was canceled for no apparent reason as Cartoon Network shifted in the direction it’s been going since.
And now….

Cartoon Network, kindly fuck off.
Baby, baby no, don’t eat the stingray. Did Steve Irwin teach you nothing?
