your art has improved a lot

Thank you.  I’m frankly astounded at how much it’s improved in the eight months since I drew that piece and the redraw I did today.  I consider it testament to the idea that anyone can draw, it’s all just a matter of making yourself do it.  It’s tough at first, but it gets easier with practice.

  • Felt like drawing some more Bev, and ended up doing a pseudo re-draw of this piece.

  • Why is it that Cartoon Network can’t seem to reboot their own shows, and every attempt is animated in a way that makes Family Guy look impressive?

I WONDER WHO MR. SPARKLEFRIEND IS

YOU ALL KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN EVENTUALLY

Featuring @ask-doctor-dimension, @asklaurastuff, @bevendre, @technomod and @tambelon as Yakutified versions of OCs! I randomly post calls for cameos on my modblog (@ask-wiggles), for the curious.

    Midnight’s scarf came!

Thanks for the cameo Wiggles, and for making my batdork more adorable than she was before

Some minor alterations to her design inspired by @ask-wiggles being awesome.

  • Have you caught the finale yet? If so, what do you think?
    reversalmushroom

I did see the finale, and I really liked it.  It actually confirmed a lot of stuff that I’ve long used in Papi and gave me ideas for what to do in the future.

  • I love seeing people shit on newer Pokemon designs, or that Gen 6 (and possibly Gen 7, though that hasn’t been confirmed yet) don’t have enough new Pokemon.  I especially love it when the same people praise Gen 1 and consider Gen 2 to be the height of the franchise.

We have no answer, I have no clue

It’s not American yogurt as a whole, it’s pretty much just yoplait in the individual servings, and reason is primarily for storage.  The yoplait inverted cups stack and lock together more securely and take up less lateral shelf space than their competitors, so more can be ordered and displayed at once.

Gavin’s got a good point though. If they just put the hole on the other end, we’d be able to eat the yogurt easier.

To a negligible extent, yes, but that would also redistribute the weight.  A smaller base and greater weight at the top makes it easier for the containers to fall and break open, thus spoiling the yogurt.  Another factor is the angle at which you’d put in the spoon, with the cups as they are the angle suits coming from the center down, which works well with the shape.  With the opening at the bottom the angle suits going down from the side, which is generally impeded by the lip.

I spent years stacking these little bastards, so I’ve put more thought than I should into it.
