There was a bit of an uproar about there not being female assassins in Assassin’s Creed Unity, especially with the most well-known actual assassin of the time and place being a woman.

After less than 4 hours playing, guess who the leader of the Assassin’s Order is?  A council of 4 that includes a black man, and a woman during a time marked by imperialism and patriarchy.
