I love it when people say that the MCU movies are misogynistic because none of the leads are women (Captain Marvel to be released, the recently finished first season of Agent Carter, and much of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. aside).  It’s true that the major movies have all had male leads so far, but they’ve also had well-written and dynamic female characters that helped to offset the male protagonists.

I have yet to see that from a successful DC film, at least within the last decade.
