We already have an armour suit inspired pokemon family, sorta, with Shelmit and Excavalier

Not really, especially since Shelmet and Excavalier are from two different families and are based off of a mollusk and jouster respectively.  I’m talking about something more akin to a possessed suit of armor.  It could be related to the Honedge family and be a more defense-oriented Ghost/Steel family.
