Didn’t they think Heath Ledger would be stupid too? Personally, I’m hoping the writing and acting can make it work.

My God, this guy looks like one of Joker’s cronies! He doesn’t look like the Joker himself. At least Heath looked like Joker from the get-go. He was toxic, he was sadistic, he was the dark side of anarchy to the darker justice that Nolan’s Batman did.
This Joker just looks… he looks so dull and bland. There’s none of the Charisma that Joker is known for. The tattoos are so stupid looking. I mean
