I’m a lonely person. I have no friends offline, and the only friend I had outside of the internet hasn’t said a word to me in more than a year. I’ve never been on a date or had a relationship outside of a confusing on-again-off-again relationship with a wonderful person from tumblr. At the age of 24 I’ve never had so much as a kiss from someone I care for.
What would a proper supportive response be from family? “You’ll find someone, just keep open and be yourself and you’ll find someone who likes you for you.”
What is the actual response from family? “I’m going to sign you up for a reality show where you’ll be married to a complete stranger for 6 months, that cool?”
Fuck off.
